Many modern plate carriers now use quick release mechanisms, but they always come at the expense of not being able to easily adjust the fit. The K19 uses our Egress™ Quick-release system and patented Fast-Adjust™ Cummerbund that can be adjusted and refined by the wearer in real time. Getting the perfect fit can depend on your specific mission gear, what you're wearing underneath (which can change halfway through the mission), or even how much you ate for lunch. The K19 has a one-size-fits-all belly band and multi-size plate bag, eliminating the need to make complicated and risky size choices when buying. The latest version of the K19 is also compatible with placard, with both upper attachment points and a new laser-cut loop overlay. This new layer gives you the best of all worlds. Unlike other carriers, the quick-release fasteners in the shoulder area are placed far back so they don't interfere with your rifle stock and are still easily accessible. Really nothing special, but exactly what you need for a side pocket on your backpack. The zipper is covered for extra water repellency and protection against wear and dirt. The vertical webbings on the front keep the compression straps of your backpack neatly in place over the pouch, so that they can also compress the pouch well. These can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners, and things like that. A 25 mm webbing loop and D-ring on the top of the rear inner wall make it possible to secure small and important items, the flat rear compartment provides rudimentary organization for smaller items. The bottom and the lower half of the sides are lined with 210D polyamide for extra wear resistance. A through-through opening allows for the drainage of water that could seep into the bag. The back is equipped with our standard PALS fastening web belt system with folding tabs. The middle horizontal rows were omitted because they didn't really do anything other than add weight. We are not a manufacturer of ultra-light stuff, but even we do not like unnecessary weight. The two vertical fastening straps leave an approx. 9 cm wide gap, so you can carry items such as axes, fishing sticks, etc. behind the pouch. Optimal attachment requires a width of four channels and a height of six (min. five) rows of PALS webbing. The compression straps on the side of the backpack, when put on, will prevent any movement of the backpack and its contents. The 6-litre side bag fits all our Jääkäri backpacks. For backpacks with less than six rows of PALS webbing on the sides, the bottom of the bag "hangs". You can have this absorbed by the compression straps on the sides, or you can choose to attach the pouch one step higher to the side of the backpack. Examples of use With a capacity of six liters, this is a medium-sized bag, not small, not large. Something you would expect with a backpack of 30-80 liters. The Jääkäri M is an improved model of the Light Border Patrol backpack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Patrol. The sleek design offers unhindered movement in tight spaces and difficult terrain. The PALS fastener offers many options for fitting extra pockets and equipment on the outside of the backpack. An internal plastic frame blade gives the backpack stiffness, while the compression straps help you tie your load up to a tight package. As part of the Border Guard heritage, the shoulder straps, the lap belt and the back lining are designed to be more comfortable to wear than most backpacks of this size. A full-length side zip provides quick access to smaller items stowed in the main compartment. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The tires and edge tape we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester bands in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as standard, as should be since the same materials are used in official military equipment. SUPPORT SYSTEM The Jääkäri M has an internal frame of plastic plate, giving it the necessary stiffness to stay upright when loaded with clumsy and bulky equipment. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are tightly filled with foam with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The forward-pulling lap belt is also easy to put on under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. The lap belt is equipped with an additional cushion for lower back support. CONNECTION OF FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the early 1990s, a compact Savotta walking backpack, simply called the "608", was chosen as the starting point for the design of a new day backpack for the Finnish Border Guard. This then changed to the 'Kevyt Rajapartio' or Lightweight Border Patrol backpack, a very modern backpack for its time: narrow design for mobility, side zipper, compression belts and rifle fastening. Most striking was a very sturdy carrying system and an aluminum reinforced frame - something you rarely see on packaging of its size. This venerable design was chosen in 2013 as the basis for the development of what would become the Jääkäri M, the first in the modern range of Savotta packs with a construction and functionality of military quality. The Agilite Magnetix™ battle belt is designed to be the best combat belt system on the market, validated downrange in intense combat. Our goal was to eliminate all problems with existing combat belts. One of the biggest problems with combat belts is that it is difficult to align the upper and lower belts, especially under pressure. It can take multiple attempts to get a correct and comfortable fit, wasting valuable time. The Magnetix Battle Belt uses a patent-pending magnetic alignment system to ensure a perfect fit every time. Another big problem with combat belts is that you don't have a MOLLE right where you need it most, close to the buckle. The Magnetix™ Battle Belt has a full field from MOLLE to the buckle, regardless of your size. Many other combat belts sag, especially at the front of the belt. The unique design of the Magnetix™ Battle Belt ensures that the belt does not sag, even under heavy loads. The Magnetix™ inner belt is designed to be the best inner belt on the market, to solve additional problems and to be a great everyday belt in its own right. The inner strap is optimized for CCW with a unique smart stiffening system that ensures the belt does not bend or wobble while carrying a firearm, but still bends when needed, for ultimate comfort. Many stiffened belts can be too stiff and uncomfortable. The Magnetix™ inner strap uses a range of composite materials that mold to your exact body shape over time. Most two-piece Battle Belt systems use safety buckles, but these are attached to materials with no safety rating or constructed in such a way that the belt is not given a safety rating. This means that the strap can never be safely used to be attached to an airframe. The Edge is a 3-liter tactical hydration carrier. It can be attached directly to the K5 Plate Carrier or any other modular plate carrier using the K Series MOLLE Hydration Attach Straps. It can also be worn independently using the K Series Shoulder straps. The updated version of our 50L Mission backpack. The main upgrade is the new "Herma" buckle, a buckle that is both brand and female in one buckle. That makes it possible to attach it wherever you want. No more trying to find the right buckle to connect with. The interior is colored light gray to make it easier to find what you're looking for without becoming a beacon, visible to the enemy. A classic backpack with a lid. Designed to match the natural shape of your spine. The lid can be removed and used as a hip bag. It has an outer and inner zippered pocket and an elastic shock cord at the top. Roll top opening/closing in the main compartment keeps snow and dirt out. The bag has a frame with a plastic plate and aluminum bars on the back to make it sturdy, but customizable. Shoulder pads are made of foam plastic for comfort and even weight balance. They have a chest strap. Inner pocket and hanger for a drinking system.
