The Arctic sock is inspired by this humid, cold, icy and windy climate of the Arctic terrain. This climate places high demands on your clothing - the Arctic sock meets this challenge. The special thickness of merino wool keeps the cold out and exhales the moisture. Merino wool keeps air inside for ventilation and insulation, and keeps the frost out of the boot. The Arctic sock is designed to dry quickly at night and does not absorb sweat and odor. The high wool percentage guarantees a high thermal degree and many days outdoors without freezing. Our Merino wool is always mouse-free and adds warmth and breathability. Uphillsport Arctic socks are made with a thick merino wool structure for extra heat and moisture absorption - this guarantees great breathability and warmth. You can be outside in the most extreme freezing cold or strong winds. The shaft of the Arctic sock is knitted with merino wool 1 x 1 structure with extra thick merino wool and Lycra. Your feet are warm and dry; the shaft warms your legs and absorbs moisture from the underfoot. Arctic has a thermal degree of level 5. The foot section of the Arctic Sock has a fitted heel. This ensures a good fit and adds comfort by keeping the sock wrinkle-free in place. No more freezing with Arctic socks. You can use Arctic solo or combine it with our Contact liner or Combat sock for even more warmth. Arctic is made at calf length to fit well above the boot.     UphillSport OPERATOR is a Tactical 4-Layer sock for warmer conditions. Developed for the Dutch Marines. Sole part is 4-layer structure with polypropylene next to the skin with added silver ions. The next layer is bamboo for moisture absorption and comfort. Merino wool has been added to the underside of the sole as the outer and most inner layer. Merino wool breathes and wicks away moisture. If you need heat, merino will also keep you warm. The shaft is made of a mixture of bamboo, polyamide and lycra. Very thick for comfort, good fit and high moisture absorption. Operator keeps your boots dry. Note that bamboo material takes a long time to dry, this is the property of keeping the moisture inside the fiber and not wetting the boots.
