UphillSport OPERATOR is a Tactical 4-Layer sock for warmer conditions. Developed for the Dutch Marines. Sole part is 4-layer structure with polypropylene next to the skin with added silver ions. The next layer is bamboo for moisture absorption and comfort. Merino wool has been added to the underside of the sole as the outer and most inner layer. Merino wool breathes and wicks away moisture. If you need heat, merino will also keep you warm. The shaft is made of a mixture of bamboo, polyamide and lycra. Very thick for comfort, good fit and high moisture absorption. Operator keeps your boots dry. Note that bamboo material takes a long time to dry, this is the property of keeping the moisture inside the fiber and not wetting the boots.
Operator socks are recommended by the Dutch Marine Corps.
