The inside of the lid is equipped with strips loop for attaching accessories with a hook back. The main compartment is a hollow space with two mesh pockets, one at each end, to help organize smaller items. Two steel compression straps with G-hook help relieve pressure on the zipper when this large bag is fully packed. The external side compartment measures 35 x 23 x 5 cm and is designed for quick access and organization of smaller items and A4 documents. The back wall features two flat mesh pouches and a D-ring and two webbing tabs to secure valuables with a teat cord or buckles. The inside of the front wall is equipped with a loop for attachment of accessories with a hook back. The flat external pouches with Velcro closure are 24 x 20 cm in size and fit on A5 documents and similar smaller objects. Two 10 x 15 cm loop fields on the side and end of the bag accept most name bands and a number of other identification data. Each D-ring can also be used to confirm name tags. We have put extra energy into providing the best possible carrying experience. Due to the length of the carrying brackets, the bag remains well at a comfortable carrying height and a good control is possible. Each end is equipped with a handle for comfortable lifting during transport. Six steel D-rings are used to attach the included adjustable shoulder strap, which offer different orientations to suit your personal taste. The D-rings are also the fastening points for the optional padded shoulder straps. MODULAR AND CUSTOMIZABLE The loop strips in the main compartment and side compartment cover are suitable for various hook-to-loop fastenable accessories, pockets and organizers. This allows you to customize your bag to your preferences, or build it into a specialized toolbox for whatever work you need it. The foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the zippered lid and the bottom of the bag can be easily removed, replaced or reinforced. This allows the end user to easily adjust the bag with extra padding or plastic inserts if that extra level of protection or padding is required. The Keikka series bags can use an optional (separately available), padded clickable backpack harness. While carrying the backpack, the foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the lid provides a basic level of comfort against your back, even if you carry annoying mess in the bag. When a backpack with a bag like this should be as uncomfortable as possible, let's face it - this will never be as comfortable as a real backpack. Instead of building our bags with unergonomic, too long handles that also serve as shoulder straps, we've decided to make this a separate option for those who really need it, so we can build each carrying option in the right way for the intended feature. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION The bags from the Keikka series are made to last. The carrier handles are made of a single length of 50 mm wide band that wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All carrier buckps are made of steel and are likely to last longer than the rest of the bag. Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defence and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge band we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester band in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as they should be, as the same materials are used in official military equipment. PROPER RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION We manufacture the vast majority of our products ourselves in our own factories in Karstula, Finland and Tartu, Estonia. Product development and special production phases such as laser cutting and metalworking take place in our main facility in Finland, the cutting and sewing of textiles takes place both in Finland and in Estonia. Here at Savotta we do not dream of low labour costs, but we work constantly hard to keep the production in our own hands! KEVYT RAJAPARTIO The daypack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Guard and also known as the Kevyt Rajapartio, is compact, simple and very versatile. Due to its slim shape, the backpack does not stand in the way even in tight spaces and is ideal for skiing and hunting. In its size category, the Kevyt Rajapartio is an unusually sturdy backpack to carry. The aluminium-reinforced internal support frame keeps the backpack in strong shape even when heavy loads. With the compression straps of the bag, even a backpack that is not full can be put on so that it sits firmly and does not rock. Compartments The bag (approximately 50 x 25 x 10-20 cm dimensions) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overfrapping. The opening is covered with a flap that encloses the top of the backpack and is fastened with straps. The generous length of the tyres offers a lot of space under the flap for overpackaging. The contents of the upper compartment can also be accessed quickly from the right side via a vertical zipper that runs over the full height of the backpack. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The hip belt buckle can be quickly detached with one hand, which is a very valuable feature in a possible emergency. The buckle collar provides extra comfort and support when wearing. With the support on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with a very durable frame of plastic plate to which two vertical aluminum rods with rivets are attached. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and can also be carried comfortably with a heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. Compact waist bag with versatile internal organization and external attachment points. Waist bags are already very versatile, but the Kukkaro is even more so thanks to the many ways you can customize it to suit your specific needs. On the inside, the bag has a number of options for organizing your belongings: elastic webbing loops of different sizes, flat pockets, tie-down loops and a loop surface for attaching organizers with hooks. The back wall has a large flat compartment for larger items. On top of the compartment is sewn a single row of 50 mm elastic webbing, which contains two smaller approx. 4 cm wide loops and a larger approx. 9 cm wide loop, suitable for small items such as multi-tools, lighters etc. The front wall has two small flat compartments with attachment loops at the top. An 18 x 10 cm loop area on the inside of the front makes it possible to attach all kinds of organisers with hooks, etc. A large, open flat pocket on the back of the backpack allows you to store the waist belt if needed and it can be used as a large belt loop if you want to carry the Kukkaro on a belt or the hip belt of a backpack. LJK This heavy backpack with external frame was originally designed for paratroopers of the Finnish army in the early 1980s. Capacity approx. 80 l. This backpack, designed for heavy military use, can be used more heavily than most users, such as a free fall of an aircraft. Given its properties, LJK is also suitable for average users and it is an excellent choice for those looking for a lifetime collaboration. The LJK backpack was launched in 1985. Originally designed for military use, the backpack was also warmly welcomed by civilian users. The special features of the model are a frame without the upper curve, which makes moving easier because it does not get in the way of the head. There are no pockets on the sides of the backpack in the lower section, which makes cross-country skiing with the backpack more comfortable. The LJK backpack is still used in the Finnish Armed Forces and is just as popular with recreational users. A traditional backpack with external frame is at its best with a heavy load, but is also suitable for lighter trips. The external tube frame ensures air circulation between the user's pocket and back, significantly reducing the heat load. Although anatomical backpacks have taken over some grass in the backpack market, there are still situations where nothing is better than an external frame backpack. LJK MODULAR A modular, heavy-duty backpack with external frame, designed for the Finnish Armed Forces in 2008. Capacity approx. 80 l. The modular LJK is designed to meet the needs of the armed forces for a modern military backpack. The characteristics and details are well thought out according to the needs of the 21st century without compromising durability and reliability in extremely heavy military use. The backpack can be customized to your needs with separate pockets and numerous attachment points. There's not much left of the old LJK backpack, except for the name, external frame design and a construction that can withstand pretty much anything. The compartments and structure of the entire backpack have been completely redesigned. The end result is more practical than before and considerably more versatile. The modular LJK has also proved to be a functional and reliable carrier when used by the Finnish armed forces and the Finnish border guard. A traditional backpack with external frame is at its best with a heavy load, but is also suitable for lighter trips. The external tube frame ensures air circulation between the pocket itself and the user's back, significantly reducing the heat load. Although anatomical backpacks have taken over some grass in the backpack market, there are still situations where nothing is better than an external frame backpack. The lower corners of the shoulder straps have loops that serve as attachment points for small objects, such as water bottles.
