BUCKLE AND LENGTH OPTIONS
To meet specific needs and preferences, we offer a few different buckle options:
1) SR buckle: For most applications, the fast and light plastic buckle with side release (SR) is more than sufficient. No wonder this is the “standard” buckle for this type of belt worldwide.
2) CAM buckle: For really heavy use, a heavier metal cam buckle is a solid choice. There is a reason why the Finnish Defense gives each soldier a pack of belts that are virtually identical to this one.
Length options, indicated as the maximum circumference of the object around which the belt can be looped, are 80 cm and 120 cm. The shorter 80 cm is sufficient for most of the stuff you want to attach to the outside of a backpack, sleeping bags and sleeping pillows etc. The 120cm is great for all kinds of bulk goods, field camp tent rollers, firewood etc, it’s enough for pretty much anything you’ll ever need it for. And hey, if the length is not enough you can always put it on a chain!
