Snugpak's Special Forces 1 is a sleeping bag for temperatures above freezing. It has an incredibly light and small pack size, only about 16 x 16 cm when fully compressed. The Special Forces 1 offers all the advantages of the Softie range. The Softie® Premier filling combines the benefits of natural down with the insensitivity of synthetic fibres. It uses superfine yarns tied with special resins to create a luxurious down feel. As a result, the plastic fibre meets the highest requirements. Even in cold and wet weather, Softie® Premier insulation remains warm, light and breathable. The wind- and water-repellent Paratex Steelplate outdoor material and the Softie® Premier filling make the sleeping bag impervious to moisture. To speed up the warming of the sleeping bag, a layer of Reflectatherm is sewn into it. Reflectatherm is a metallized, highly breathable fabric sewn between the inner fabric and the Softie® Premier filling. It reflects the heat released by the body and thus achieves one to 15% better heat storage. A zipper with a continuous, insulated zipper; A mummy shape for warmth and comfort and a padded, form-fitting hood with adjustable cord. • The Basecamp Explorer is the perfect sleeping bag to introduce children to the Snugpak range. It's useful for a whole range of situations, including camping trips in late spring and summer, sleepovers with friends, or wherever their imagination takes them! Designed with freedom of movement in mind, the square shape of the Basecamp Explorer creates more space to ensure kids feel comfortable all night long. This sleeping bag is multifunctional, because once fully unzipped it becomes a lightweight insulated duvet. Because it is made to the same standards as our adult sleeping bags, it has the same technical insulation and fabrics, including a Supersoft lining and technical Isofibre insulation, which provides a lot of warmth. The Basecamp Explorer is lightweight, colorful and compact. Specifications

The blanket shape of the sleeping bag gives the sleeper more space in the sleeping bag. You can turn around in it or even raise your feet without the fabric stretching (and then forming thermal bridges). However, there is more volume and more weight than with the mummy shape and poorer thermal performance at a similar weight. Attributes
