    The HAWU is a highly customizable security system designed for long-term use. It is perfect for the most demanding environments, also for military use all year round. Designed for versatility and adaptability, the HAWU is highly flexible when it comes to finding a suitable place to set up. This requires very few accessories. The core of its flexibility are the zippers that connect the tent parts together and allow them to be distributed and placed around tree trunks.
    The door is designed so that you step into the tent instead of crawling under a low side entrance. A freely hanging inner wall prevents the warm air from escaping from the tent when the zippered door is opened. A useful function if someone has to keep watch at the same time and look at the lit heater.
    There is a steel oven tube opening with a hinged lid between the door and the top of the front part. This design provides safety when using an oven for heating. If no oven is used, the folding cover closes the connection from the outside.
    The side zippers provide a quick way out, especially during military operations or in case of emergency. The zippers and their rolled-up outer cover allow for a very fast emergency exit - open the zipper a little from top to bottom and just push yourself through!
    The top of the tent is made of excess fabric that can be used to cover the top when a center stick is used. The tip can be left completely open or left open only on one side, depending on the wind direction, which regulates the ventilation and evaporation of moisture, depending on the conditions. When using an oven, it is advisable to keep the tip open so that the warm air can drain moisture.
    HAWU tents are standard made of a naturally fire retardant and breathable fabric that has been treated against mold resistance. The fibers in the fabric swell when wet to ensure effective sealing against rain without the need for waterproof and poorly breathable coatings. For large orders, such as procurement by the military and government agencies, we can, and we have done so in the past, make the HAWU from other substances specified by the customer. CONSTRUCTION POSSIBILITIES
    The split design offers flexibility in both transport and assembly. Thanks to the numerous mounting methods, the HAWU can be set up practically anywhere, which minimizes the time and effort required to find the perfect location. Around a tree: The halves can be mounted around a tree trunk, so there is no need to wear or manufacture separate center posts on site. Another advantage of this method is camouflage, where the treetops provide excellent camouflage for aerial exploration. Hanging: Instead of using a central support, trunk or pole, the HAWU can be hung on a rope between two trees. This creates space in the tent for more people or to set up equipment for maintenance and work. With a central pole: the usual old-fashioned way also works with the HAWU. For this we offer specially made telescopic mid-sticks. Side parts: The two halves of the HAWU can be used separately as smaller open protective sails. This allows a larger team to split up and take half the tent with them.
    Due to the smart design of the corner sheath lines, no corner poles are needed. Just cut the lines or tie them around a rock or tree and pull on the quick belt adjusters to adjust the tension, and you're done.     The HAWU is a highly customizable security system designed for long-term use. It is perfect for the most demanding environments, also for military use all year round. Another advantage of this method is camouflage, where the treetops provide excellent camouflage for aerial exploration. Hanging: Instead of using a central support, trunk or pole, the HAWU can be hung on a rope between two trees. This creates space in the tent for more people or to set up equipment for maintenance and work. With a central pole: the usual old-fashioned way also works with the HAWU. For this we offer specially made telescopic mid-sticks. Side parts: The two halves of the HAWU can be used separately as smaller open protective sails.     DETAILED DESCRIPTION The sauna has been a central and respected place in Finnish life for centuries, a place of birth and death, life and celebration. The word "hiisi" is old Finnish for a sacred place, a place of sacrifice or mystical power - the perfect family name for our sauna tents and accessories. The Hiisi 2 is a renewed design based on the old Hikimaja. The tent itself is actually a box with a sloping roof, not a center post. The corner poles are put into tubes on the outside of the tent, so that it is less crowded inside. The ceiling and wall materials are fire retardant for safety, but not fireproof, so sparks and flames will burn holes in them, so be careful. The interior is large enough for a double sofa, two people and the stove. The stove is placed in the far right corner, as seen from the entrance. The sofa is placed against the left wall, under the window. The window along the top edge of the sofa wall provides some light and a chance to look outside. The entrance is a simple zippered slot. A piece of cord is attached to the ceiling seam of the back wall, this is an attachment point for a sauna thermometer to help you monitor the temperature and not overheat the tent. The tent, poles and stakes can be neatly transported in a carrying case. Shoulder straps make it possible to carry a backpack and free up your hands for stoves or other accessories.
    INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hiisi 2. You need a hammer or something similar to hit the poles in the ground. We recommend using a sauna thermometer up to 100°C to prevent overheating and help you get the perfect temperature. 1. Find a suitable flat spot approx. 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers:
    • Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard).
    • Uneven surface (stove or users may stumble and fall).
    2. Unpack the tent canvas and insert the corner poles into the covers. 3. Spread the tent cloth with the poles approximately where you want it. 4. Aim one or two opposite corners at once:
    • Hammer a pole into the ground approx. 140/160 cm (wall height) from the corner.
    • Attach the corner guy line with a reliable knot to the pole.
    • Repeat until all the corners are in place and each shaving cord is fastened to the ground.
    5. Inspect the tent, correct if necessary by adjusting the poles, poles and ropes. 6. Install the stove and the sofa. 7. If necessary, attach a sauna thermometer up to 100°C to the line hanging from the ceiling.
    • The thermometer should hang 140 cm above the ground.
    8. Do not heat the interior above 75 ° C, extreme overheating can damage the tent and is unnecessary - it is steam that makes the sauna pleasant, not hot air. 9. Enjoy (with caution)! Warnings: This sauna tent is designed to be heated with the Savotta wood stove and stone rack. With improper use, the heated heater can cause numerous dangers and physical injury:
    • Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term stationary use and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between uses. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. If you leave a tent upright for a few months, it will damage and any damage resulting from this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty.
    • To prevent damage to the tent from falling sparks, the chimney top should protrude 100 cm above the chimney gate. We recommend burning hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks.
    • Although the fabrics are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not refractory - sparks and flames will damage the substance and burn holes in the fabric. Heater-heated tents will suffer from burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric during normal use. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.
    • Only use stones intended for sauna use. Improper stones, when heated, can crack and cause injuries from flying shrapnel.
    • Sparks and heat from the stove can set fire to combustible material nearby, easily remove combustible material in and near the tent before use.
    • Always keep a large bucket of water or a fire extinguisher within seconds range of the tent when the stove is hot, be prepared to put out any fire!
    • The stove and stones are extremely hot when heated and can cause injuries when touched!
    • After use, inspect the soil for any hot embers and extinguish it with water.

These also work when the outer large loops are full, leaving there are two levels to organize on. The pen loops at the ends are just that, ideal for pens, glowsticks etc. Beware: although the elastic band stretches a lot, it can be stretched by putting too large things in a too small loop.     DESCRIPTION The internal elastic webbing compartments are designed for our locally common Senop lead discs (45 x 60 x 5 mm), as used by the Finnish Defence Force, but they can also fit various other gear. In the large space under the elastic bands, a block of max. 100 x 60 x 20 mm, the two smaller weight compartments each fit a block of max. 45 x 60 x 15 mm. The pouch can be attached to the back of your helmet/cover with Velcro and two adjustable straps. The straps come with screw buckles, attach these to the rear chin strap/rail screws on your helmet, place the pouch where you want it and thread the two straps through the screw buckles. If you fasten the straps properly, they will ensure that the pouch does not lie around when you weigh it down. If your helmet has rails with suitable attachment points, then you may not need to use the buckles. Because the pouch is open on the sides, you can guide the elastic of your goggles through it and the pouch will stay firmly in place on the helmet no matter what. The elastic loops on the outside allow you to guide and tidy up cords, attach glow sticks, etc. Even if the straps are attached to the inside of the back wall, there's still some loop surface you can use to store small patches when you're not using them.     Our magzijnpouches with lids are designed to transport your warehouses reliably, well protected in all conditions and to be easy to open even with thick winter gloves on. The lid keeps the worst mud, sand and snow out of the pouch. External reinforcement bands along the bottom ensure a longer lifespan, as these types of pouches are usually the first to wear out. At the very bottom is a drain grommet to drain the water. The back features our standard PALS attachment system with plug-in tabs. The fastening straps can also be woven into belt loops for belts 45-50 mm wide. A piece of elastic cord looped around the pouch provides adjustable retention and circumference adjustment. Not only ideal for loose pouches, but also for adjusting the bag for radios, IFAK inserts, etc. LID CLOSURE SYSTEM The lid of this pouch is closed with a polyethylene-reinforced tab and Velcro. A tuck-in loop is mechanically very simple, but extremely reliable compared to plastic buckles, press studs or simply with Velcro. This is virtually identical to the way the attachment straps on all of our PALS attachable pouches lock into place, only shorter and with a grip tab for quick opening. Thanks to the Velcro closure, the pouch remains securely closed even when half empty and can be closed quickly without putting the tab inside. The hook piece can be covered with a sewn-in loop piece for quiet operation. Pro tip: When using a brand new pouch for the first time, press down on the tab with your fingers to give it a C-bend. This makes it much easier to use, as its claw-like shape finds its way better into the small pouch with strap that locks it in. Don't worry, polyethylene (in all its boring low-tech glory) is highly wrinkle-resistant and won't crack or break, which is why we use it.
