Lightweight For this process, a plastic called polyurethane is used. It is a very light foam filling. Damping The plastic polyurethane is a foam filling with very good damping properties. The plastic retains its shape and bounces back to its original state, even when the millions of small bubbles are often pressed together. This, in turn, creates a good rebound effect.
