• An effective, simple and reliable two-point sling, originally designed for a special military customer of ours. The LW (lightweight) Griffin Sling is simple and unobtrusive, made of 25mm/1" webbing without any padding, for submachine guns and light rifles. Check out the MW if you want a little width and padding, or the HW if you need a good thick filling. QUICK ADJUSTMENT SLIDER The heart of the Griffin Sling is our patented slider for quick adjustment. Quick, effortless adjustment allows for an easy transition between carry-shoot-carry etc. under any circumstances. We know the world is full of buckles for adjusting slings, and most of them are pretty good too. We chose to design our own customization hardware for these simple reasons: 1) It must be solid metal with no moving parts 2) It must have the right toothing and protrusions to grip; 3) It must be compatible with the grip lip for use with winter handwear; 4) And it should preferably be made in Finland If you hate the tab of the webbing grip, or just don't need it or whatever, you can cut it off. The serrated sides and the protruding attachment point of the webbing provide good grip. INSTALLATION Since this is a simple two-point sling, you don't have to play with multiple ends of the webbing, only two. The 25mm/1" strap fits most sling swivels and fasteners out there. We make these with long enough woven ends to reach around most people. 1. Open the back loop by passing the woven end through the steel tri-glide buckle. Loop the belt through the sling-swivel, buckle, stock, or whatever attachment point you use on the back of your firearm. Thread the fabric through the buckle again and make a U-turn to lock it in place. 2. Open the front quick adjustment loop and remove the steel tri-glide from the tire. Loop the webbing through your front sling-swivel or buckle, reattach the steel tri-glide and loop the strap around the quick adjustment slider and back through the steel tri-glide. 3. Try to play around with different adjustment lengths on the front and back. Once you've found the right setting, you can roll up the excess webbing ends and stick them in neat bundles. Or, if you dare, cut and burn them. ORIGIN The Griffin Slings are the commercial offspring of a series of slings that we have designed for a military customer according to their requirements. Our customer needed good two-point tires for all types of small arms, including sniper rifles and light machine guns. The slings should carry an unpleasant weight as comfortably as possible, be equipped with a forward pulling force to be able to be extended quickly, fit on different fasteners and must be effective and reliable in "suboptimal conditions" (it is -30 °C, you suffer from sleep deprivation and wearing thick winter gloves and the use of NVGs that ruin your view of everything within arm's length). Then we went on to design the lighter medium version for carbines, and the lightweight one for SMG:s and the like. Because these turned out pretty well, we decided to make them available to the public. So, here you go: the Griffin Slings — fairly fast, low-bullshit slings, named after that mythical half-bird-half-cat creature for some peculiar reason. Main features

  • Savotta Helmet Camo Scrim

    19,9022,90
While natural foliage is the ultimate helmet camouflage, a bushy cover with a 3D effect might be the next best thing. Quick and easy to use, easy to customize. They effectively break up helmet silhouettes and provide quick camouflage adjustment to suit different environments. The design is very simple, a single flat piece of 500D Cordura with alternating zigzag shapes cut into it. The zigzag pattern is positioned in such a way that it creates an opening for NVG mounts on the front. Small slits have been cut around the edges for the elastic cord. Thread the elastic cord through the slits, tie it at the back, and pull it over your helmet like a shower cap. Finish it off by pulling back any excess material and rolling it underneath yourself to tighten the cover. If you want to adjust the fit, you can play around with threading the elastic cord through the slits and zigzag pattern in different ways. And if you get really wild and feel the need: you can even cut off excess material from the cover, but of course, such huge adjustments are at your own risk. KEY FEATURES

    JÄÄKÄRI M

The medium day backpack of the Jääkäri family, capacity approximately 30 liters. The Jääkäri M is an improved model of the Light Border Patrol backpack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Patrol. The sleek design offers unhindered movement in tight spaces and difficult terrain. The PALS fastener offers many options for fitting extra pockets and equipment on the outside of the backpack. An internal plastic frame blade gives the backpack stiffness, while the compression straps help you tie your load up to a tight package. As part of the Border Guard heritage, the shoulder straps, the lap belt and the back lining are designed to be more comfortable to wear than most backpacks of this size. KEY FEATURES Content 30 l Padded shoulder straps with chest strap Padded hip strap Main compartment with floating lid and side zip Zipper pocket on the inside of the lid Internal hydration compartment Compression straps on the side Internal plastic frame sheet PALS compatible for attaching extra bags 5-year warranty on material and craftsmanship Finnish Key Flag product TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 1.75 kg Dimensions: 52 x 25 x 17 cm (H x B x D) Main material: 1000D Cordura (100% polyamide) Band: 100% polyester Frame plate: HDPE DETAILED DESCRIPTION A collar with drawstring covered with a floating lid closes the main compartment at the top. A full-length side zip provides quick access to smaller items stowed in the main compartment. A zippered pocket on the inside of the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The floating lid and compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the backpack's capacity. Fasten it tightly or loosen it, depending on the load carried. The compression straps ensure that additional equipment can be attached to the outside of the backpack if necessary. External side pockets at the bottom can be used to provide tools, tripods etc. Secure to the sides of the backpack. A hydration compartment is attached to the inner back wall. Tube ports on both sides allow you to guide the drinks long from the left or right, while the other port remains free for other uses, such as antennas or cables. With PALS straps on the backpack's lap belt, sides and lid, you can attach extra bags and equipment. This system offers numerous options to customize the package to your specific needs. Not only for pouches, the PALS band can also be used for attaching utility straps, shock cord, carbine hooks etc. Four singelluses at the bottom can be used to attach utility straps. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The tires and edge tape we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester bands in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as standard, as should be since the same materials are used in official military equipment. SUPPORT SYSTEM The Jääkäri M has an internal frame of plastic plate, giving it the necessary stiffness to stay upright when loaded with clumsy and bulky equipment. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are tightly filled with foam with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The forward-pulling lap belt is also easy to put on under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. The lap belt is equipped with an additional cushion for lower back support. CONNECTION OF FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the early 1990s, a compact Savotta walking backpack, simply called the "608", was chosen as the starting point for the design of a new day backpack for the Finnish Border Guard. This then changed to the 'Kevyt Rajapartio' or Lightweight Border Patrol backpack, a very modern backpack for its time: narrow design for mobility, side zipper, compression belts and rifle fastening. Most striking was a very sturdy carrying system and an aluminum reinforced frame - something you rarely see on packaging of its size. This venerable design was chosen in 2013 as the basis for the development of what would become the Jääkäri M, the first in the modern range of Savotta packs with a construction and functionality of military quality. This worked out very well and the Jääkäri M was followed by his siblings: the Jääkäri S, L and XL.

The free Finnish online dictionary www.sanakirja.org defines "kukkaro" as "a small, usually leather pouch or bag, in which one carries small necessities and accessories, such as money, tobacco, etc. By definition, such a small fanny pack is really the ultimate "kukkaro". DESCRIPTION The internal elastic webbing compartments are designed for our locally common Senop lead discs (45 x 60 x 5 mm), as used by the Finnish Defence Force, but they can also fit various other gear. In the large space under the elastic bands, a block of max. 100 x 60 x 20 mm, the two smaller weight compartments each fit a block of max. 45 x 60 x 15 mm. The pouch can be attached to the back of your helmet/cover with Velcro and two adjustable straps. The straps come with screw buckles, attach these to the rear chin strap/rail screws on your helmet, place the pouch where you want it and thread the two straps through the screw buckles. If you fasten the straps properly, they will ensure that the pouch does not lie around when you weigh it down. If your helmet has rails with suitable attachment points, then you may not need to use the buckles. Because the pouch is open on the sides, you can guide the elastic of your goggles through it and the pouch will stay firmly in place on the helmet no matter what. The elastic loops on the outside allow you to guide and tidy up cords, attach glow sticks, etc. Even if the straps are attached to the inside of the back wall, there's still some loop surface you can use to store small patches when you're not using them. No weight plates included, these are sold separately: NVD counterweight kit.
