The K19 has many subtle but revolutionary features that no other plate carrier has. When it comes to the belly band, we have thought of everything. Many modern plate carriers now use quick release mechanisms, but they always come at the expense of not being able to easily adjust the fit. The K19 uses our Egress™ Quick-release system and patented Fast-Adjust™ Cummerbund that can be adjusted and refined by the wearer in real time. Getting the perfect fit can depend on your specific mission gear, what you're wearing underneath (which can change halfway through the mission), or even how much you ate for lunch. QUICK ADJUSTMENT SLIDER The heart of the Griffin Sling is our patented slider for quick adjustment. Quick, effortless adjustment allows for an easy transition between carry-shoot-carry etc. under any circumstances. We know the world is full of buckles for adjusting slings, and most of them are pretty good too. We chose to design our own customization hardware for these simple reasons: 1) It must be solid metal with no moving parts 2) It must have the right toothing and protrusions to grip; 3) It must be compatible with the grip lip for use with winter handwear; 4) And it should preferably be made in Finland If you hate the tab of the webbing grip, or just don't need it or whatever, you can cut it off. Use Fluna Gun Degreaser to clean the vessel from coarse dirt such as powder smoke, etc. Bring Fluna BORE PRO into the vessel, e.g. with a soaked felt pad or with a wet metal brush. Use a brushing stick guide. Make sure that the running steel is completely and evenly moistened. After the exposure time of approx. 15 minutes. moisten a metal brush (copper or brass) again with Fluna BORE PRO and push it in the barrel towards the bulkhead. Pay attention to caliber-precise brushes! With about 10 back and forth movements you brush away the metal deposits. Finally, wipe the barrel several times with clean felt pads or plasters and remove the deposit from the barrel. At the same time, the barrel is preserved by the remaining amount of Fluna BORE PRO, neutralization is not necessary.
