The SWAT-T™ Turnstile is a unique and multifunctional bandage. Its name describes its use Stretch, Wrap and Tuck, as well as the communities for whom it was developed - military and civilian Special Weapons and Tactics teams. These teams operate in an environment where there are many penetrating traumas, and most (two-thirds) of avoidable deaths in the operational environment result from bleeding at the extremities. The SWAT-T™ Tourniquet provides a faster way to control extremity bleeding and can be placed higher in the groin and axilla than other tourniquets.
