Border controls A classic from 1989, known in Finnish as the Rajapartio, originally designed for the Finnish border guard. An internal tubular aluminium frame helps to carry unwieldy and heavy loads. What is special is that the Rajapartio backpack has attachment points for a rifle on the outside. Originally designed to carry an assault rifle, the attachment points can also be used very well to attach, for example, a camera tripod or other long special supplies. Compartments The upper main compartment (dimensions approximately 45 x 35 x 22 cm) is closed by attaching the opening of the drawstring, which is secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overpackaging. The opening is covered with a large flap that is secured with straps. The generous length of the straps offers plenty of space under the flap to overpack. In the flap is a large, open pouch. When the valve is closed, the opening of the bag is facing upwards and closes so that the contents do not fall. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. The compartment is also ideal for carrying, for example, a water bag or other flat stuff. The lower compartment of the bag (dimensions about 15 x 35 x 20 cm) is closed with a two-way zipper and fastened with the same straps used to close the flap of the backpack itself. The side compartments (dimensions approximately 30 x 15 x 6 cm) are sealed with waterproof protective collars and covered with flaps that can be secured with straps. The side pocket on the left also has a vertical zipper which makes the contents of the box quickly accessible. OTHER ANCHORAGES On the flap at the back of the backpack and at the bottom of the bag you will find fastening loops to carry a rifle. The loops are also equally suitable for carrying other exceptionally long devices. The load is secured by tightening a belt that encloses the entire backpack. There are attachment points for detachable straps on top of the flap. Large essentials that otherwise do not fit in the backpack can be fastened on top of the flap. The side compartment on the right is tunnel-shaped and there is a mounting point above for a detachable belt. For example, it can easily hold an axe. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The buckle of the hip belt can be detached very quickly with one hand. A very valuable function in a possible emergency. With the support handle on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with an internal, square tube frame made of DUR aluminum. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and is comfortable to carry, even with a slightly heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: External dimensions: height 65 cm, width 50 cm, depth 25 cm. Content: approximately 60 l. Weight: about 2.00 kg. Materiaal: 1000D Cordura Frame: DUR aluminium. Colour: olive green. WARRANTY AND WARRANTY: The product has a 5-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. KEY FLAG PRODUCT: This Finnish Key Flag product is partially manufactured at our factory in Estonia, but more than 50 of its work is made in Finland.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 3.7 kg (including all accessories) Dimensions: 150 x 170 x 140/160 cm (L x B x H) Pack size: 170 x 20 x 30 cm Floor area: 2.55 m² Material: 210D PA (FR), fire retardant and mould resistant DETAILED DESCRIPTION Decades ago we made a simple small boxy sauna tent, which was forgotten over the decades and replaced with larger, more intricate designs. The function and idea of that now long-lost design was brought back as the Hikimaja, our smallest, simplest sauna tent. The word "hikimaja" is Finnish for (about) "sweat cottage", this is a very simplistic sauna tent built around the idea of making it as compact, simple and portable as possible. The Hikimaja is built around a very simple geometry - it's a box and that's all. Four corner poles keep the tent upright, this design eliminates the need for a center bar and reduces the number of accessories to just four corner poles and four pegs. The corner poles are inserted into the sleeves on the outside of the tent, making the interior slightly less crowded. The materials are fire retardant for safety, but not fire proof, so sparks and flames will burn holes in them, so be careful. The interior is large enough for a double sofa and the stove. The stove is at the bottom of the wall, the sofa against the opposite upper wall. The entrance is a simple zipper over the middle of the front wall, zipper - entry - zipper. The tent, poles and poles can be neatly stored in a carrier bag for transport. A shoulder strap makes it easy to wear, so you have your hands free for heaters or other accessories. INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hikimaja. You need a hammer or similar tool to smash the poles into the ground. Find a suitable flat spot about 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers: Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard). Uneven surface (heater or users may stumble and fall). Unseed and insert the canes into the sleeves. Spread out the tent cloth with sticks that are placed approximately in the desired spot. Set one or two opposite angles at the same time: Hammer a stick about in the ground. 150 cm from the corner. Attach the corner rope to the pole with a reliable knot. Repeat until all corners are in place and each shaving line is pinned to the ground. Install the telescopic center pole, use the pen to adjust it for the correct height and tension. Inspect the tent, correct if necessary by adjusting the poles, poles and ropes. Install heater and bench. Do not heat the Hikimaja above 75 °C, extreme overheating can damage the tent and is unnecessary - it is steam that makes the sauna pleasant, not hot air. Enjoy (carefully)! WARNINGS - READ FOR USE! This sauna tent is designed to be heated with the Savotta wood stove and stone rack. If used incorrectly, the heated heater can cause numerous hazards and bodily injury: Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term idling and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between use. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. By keeping a tent upright for several months, it is damaged and any damage caused by this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty. To prevent tent damage from falling sparks, the top of the chimney should protrude 100 cm above the chimney opening. We recommend burning hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks. Although the substances are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not fire-safe - sparks and flames damage and burn holes in the fabric. Heater heated tents will in normal use incur some burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric. This is normal wear and tear and easy to repair if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use. Use only stones intended for sauna use. Incorrect stones can burst when heated and cause injury due to flying shrapnel. Sparks and heat from the stove can set fire to flammable material nearby, easily remove combustible material in and near the tent before use. Always keep a generous bucket of water or a fire extinguisher within seconds of the tent if the heater is hot, be prepared to extinguish any fire! The stove and stones are extremely hot when heated and can cause injury when touched.

The Hikimaja sauna tent is no longer in the Savotta range. This was replaced by the Hiisi 4 and Hiisi 2.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION The sauna has been a central and respected place in Finnish life for centuries, a place of birth and death, life and celebration. The word "hiisi" is old Finnish for a sacred place, a place of sacrifice or mystical power - the perfect family name for our sauna tents and accessories. The Hiisi 2 is a renewed design based on the old Hikimaja. The tent itself is actually a box with a sloping roof, not a center post. The corner poles are put into tubes on the outside of the tent, so that it is less crowded inside. The ceiling and wall materials are fire retardant for safety, but not fireproof, so sparks and flames will burn holes in them, so be careful. The interior is large enough for a double sofa, two people and the stove. The stove is placed in the far right corner, as seen from the entrance. The sofa is placed against the left wall, under the window. The window along the top edge of the sofa wall provides some light and a chance to look outside. The entrance is a simple zippered slot. A piece of cord is attached to the ceiling seam of the back wall, this is an attachment point for a sauna thermometer to help you monitor the temperature and not overheat the tent. The tent, poles and stakes can be neatly transported in a carrying case. Shoulder straps make it possible to carry a backpack and free up your hands for stoves or other accessories.
INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hiisi 2. You need a hammer or something similar to hit the poles in the ground. We recommend using a sauna thermometer up to 100°C to prevent overheating and help you get the perfect temperature. 1. Find a suitable flat spot approx. 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers:
    • Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard).
    • Uneven surface (stove or users may stumble and fall).
    2. Unpack the tent canvas and insert the corner poles into the covers. 3. Spread the tent cloth with the poles approximately where you want it. 4. Aim one or two opposite corners at once:
    • Hammer a pole into the ground approx. 140/160 cm (wall height) from the corner.
    • Attach the corner guy line with a reliable knot to the pole.
    • Repeat until all the corners are in place and each shaving cord is fastened to the ground.
    5. Inspect the tent, correct if necessary by adjusting the poles, poles and ropes. 6. Install the stove and the sofa. 7. If necessary, attach a sauna thermometer up to 100°C to the line hanging from the ceiling.
    • The thermometer should hang 140 cm above the ground.
    8. Do not heat the interior above 75 ° C, extreme overheating can damage the tent and is unnecessary - it is steam that makes the sauna pleasant, not hot air. 9. Enjoy (with caution)! Warnings: This sauna tent is designed to be heated with the Savotta wood stove and stone rack. With improper use, the heated heater can cause numerous dangers and physical injury:
    • Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term stationary use and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between uses. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. If you leave a tent upright for a few months, it will damage and any damage resulting from this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty.
    • To prevent damage to the tent from falling sparks, the chimney top should protrude 100 cm above the chimney gate. We recommend burning hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks.
    • Although the fabrics are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not refractory - sparks and flames will damage the substance and burn holes in the fabric. Heater-heated tents will suffer from burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric during normal use. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.
    • Only use stones intended for sauna use. Improper stones, when heated, can crack and cause injuries from flying shrapnel.
    • Sparks and heat from the stove can set fire to combustible material nearby, easily remove combustible material in and near the tent before use.

JÄÄKÄRI L The larger multi-day package of the Jääkäri family, capacity approximately 55 liters. Based on the Border Patrol backpack originally designed for the Finnish Border Patrol in the 1980s. Big enough for multi-day walks, but compressable to a compact day package if necessary. The PALS attachment system provides excellent scalability to the outside when you need it. Thanks to the generously padded, thermoformed shoulder belts and lap belt in combination with an internal tubular aluminium frame, the Jääkäri L can comfortably carry heavy loads. KEY FEATURES Content 55 l Padded shoulder straps with chest strap Padded detachable lap belt Main compartment with roll top and floating lid / li> Zipper compartment in the lid Internal hydration compartment Compression straps on the side Internal aluminium tube frame PALS compatible for attaching extra bags 5-year warranty on material and craftsmanship Finnish Key Flag Product TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 2.4 kg Dimensions: 65 x 31 x 22 cm (H x B x D) Main material: 1000D Cordura Frame: aluminium tubes DETAILED DESCRIPTION Roll the top at the top, the zipper at the bottom and a cinch cord divider on the inside, so you can use the main bag any way you want. By opening the distributor, the main pocket is changed into a large hollow space. The zipper at the bottom provides quick access to the equipment you need most during the day, while the roll top ensures weatherproof protection for most of your gear. A zippered box in the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The roll closure, the floating lid and the compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the volume of the backpack. Tie it tightly or loosen it, depending on the load transported. The compression straps ensure that additional equipment can be attached to the outside of the backpack if necessary. A hydration compartment is attached to the inner wall. A central hydration tube port allows you to guide your hydration bladder tube from behind your neck to both shoulders. With PALS straps on the lap belt, sides, lid and bottom of the backpack, you can attach extra pockets and equipment. This system offers numerous options for configuring the package to meet your specific needs. But not only for pouches, the PALS webbing strap can also be used to belts, shock cords, carbine hooks etc. To confirm. The lap belt can be attached to the backpack via PALS webbing. It can be moved up or down to adjust the back length of the backpack and can be removed from the frame for use as a stand-alone strap for equipment. With matching bags you can use them instead of or in combination with a small day pack. SUPPORT SYSTEM An internal tubular aluminum frame ensures that the backpack does not sag and transfers the weight of the backpack to your hips, even when loaded with heavy and bulky cargo. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are generously padded with thermoformed foam filling with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The adjustment of the back length is done by moving the lap belt up or down over the backpack using PALS bands. The forward pull rape adjustment is easy to secure, even under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. CONNECTION OF THE FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the late 1980s, Savotta designed a new patrol package for the Finnish Border Patrol, simply called "Rajapartio" - Border Patrol. This was the first package of Savotta with an internal aluminum tube frame, a very simple design that turned out to be very good. The Border Patrol package is still being used by the Finnish Border Patrol at the time of writing in 2019, a testament to how specially designed designs do not work. However, materials and manufacturing technologies are evolving, as are end-users' needs. The Jääkäri L is in our opinion a worthy successor to its ancestor.
