Common tarp systems are often small and rectangular, which makes the design and construction of a suitable shelter for inclement weather difficult: the Snugpak® All Weather Shelter is 3 m² in size, making it possible to include both users and their equipment in a variety of traditional tarp configurations, as well as more ingenious, freestanding styles, with different equipment, such as walking sticks, paddles etc. Detached shelters can be built in environments and on grounds without the traditional need for perfectly spaced trees. Using common equipment, such as walking sticks, the Snugpak All Weather Shelter can be constructed freestanding, in different designs to protect the user in different configurations depending on the inclement weather. From standard windshields with a 45° inclination to the all-encompassing protection of a Manta Shelter, the impressive 2000 m hydrostatic head keeps you dry in wet weather. As an additional safety item for group leaders of outdoor activities, the All Weather Shelter can be configured in a Big-Top Design, so that 4 or more people can shelter under it when the weather gets inclement. This makes it an ideal retreat where you can prepare and change clothes as needed. In a time-critical emergency, where a victim needs to be moved for safety reasons, the All Weather Shelter can be configured as an emergency stretcher.     This simple kit allows you to create different markers by combining the different patches or using them as is. The kit includes two 25 x 25 mm squares, two 20 x 50 mm lines and a 50 x 50 mm square. This allows you to make a number of different combinations, or just highlight a lot of different things with separate patches. They are made of fairly high-quality photoluminescent material, the same material that we have been using for decades in various military applications. This stuff is quite effective and lasts a very long time. We examined 10+ year old material we had in stock and it performed with around 90% the same efficiency as its brand new counterpart. Since the material itself has a very long lifespan, we decided not to rely solely on lamination/gluing to hold the photoluminescent material to the hook band. These are therefore also sewn for the longest possible lifespan. This significantly increases the cost of production, but now we can be sure that these will not delaminate after a few winter/summer use cycles. KEY FEATURES
