The Snugpak® All Weather Shelter is an impressive 9.3 m² diamond-shaped tarp shelter designed for Bushcraft, Wild camping, Group activities, Military and Cadet use. It is the perfect addition to any outdoor package and offers versatile protection against all weather conditions.
Designed by experienced military veterans, the Snugpak® All Weather Shelter offers you year-round protection from sun, wind, rain and snow. The All Weather Shelter is designed as a diamond-shaped tarp and can be configured as a Fly, Tarp, Lean-to Shelter and other freestanding shelter designs, making it ideal for wild camping, fast and light tours and expeditions or as an emergency shelter for both individuals and small groups; It can also be used as a stretcher if necessary.
The Shelter comes with four extendable guy lines and eight lightweight tent pegs.
Common tarp systems are often small and rectangular, which makes the design and construction of a suitable shelter for inclement weather difficult: the Snugpak® All Weather Shelter is 3 m² in size, making it possible to include both users and their equipment in a variety of traditional tarp configurations, as well as more ingenious, freestanding styles, with different equipment, such as walking sticks, paddles etc.
Detached shelters can be built in environments and on grounds without the traditional need for perfectly spaced trees. Using common equipment, such as walking sticks, the Snugpak All Weather Shelter can be constructed freestanding, in different designs to protect the user in different configurations depending on the inclement weather. From standard windshields with a 45° inclination to the all-encompassing protection of a Manta Shelter, the impressive 2000 m hydrostatic head keeps you dry in wet weather.
As an additional safety item for group leaders of outdoor activities, the All Weather Shelter can be configured in a Big-Top Design, so that 4 or more people can shelter under it when the weather gets inclement. This makes it an ideal retreat where you can prepare and change clothes as needed.
In a time-critical emergency, where a victim needs to be moved for safety reasons, the All Weather Shelter can be configured as an emergency stretcher. Simply fold the shelter in half into a rectangle and place a large flat knot in each corner.
