MODULAR AND CUSTOMIZABLE The loop strips in the main compartment and side compartment cover are suitable for various hook-to-loop fastenable accessories, pockets and organizers. This allows you to customize your bag to your preferences, or build it into a specialized toolbox for whatever work you need it. The foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the zippered lid and the bottom of the bag can be easily removed, replaced or reinforced. This allows the end user to easily adjust the bag with extra padding or plastic inserts if that extra level of protection or padding is required. The Keikka series bags can use an optional (separately available), padded clickable backpack harness. While carrying the backpack, the foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the lid provides a basic level of comfort against your back, even if you carry annoying mess in the bag. When a backpack with a bag like this should be as uncomfortable as possible, let's face it - this will never be as comfortable as a real backpack. Instead of building our bags with unergonomic, too long handles that also serve as shoulder straps, we've decided to make this a separate option for those who really need it, so we can build each carrying option in the right way for the intended feature. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION The bags from the Keikka series are made to last. The carrier handles are made of a single length of 50 mm wide band that wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All carrier buckps are made of steel and are likely to last longer than the rest of the bag. Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defence and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge band we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester band in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as they should be, as the same materials are used in official military equipment. PROPER RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION We manufacture the vast majority of our products ourselves in our own factories in Karstula, Finland and Tartu, Estonia. Product development and special production phases such as laser cutting and metalworking take place in our main facility in Finland, the cutting and sewing of textiles takes place both in Finland and in Estonia. Here at Savotta we do not dream of low labour costs, but we work constantly hard to keep the production in our own hands! This backpack is designed to carry extremely heavy loads, just as its military predecessors have been since the early 1980s. With the roll top at the top, the zipper at the bottom and a drawstring distributor on the inside, you can use the main pocket in any way you want. By opening the distributor, the main pocket turns into a huge hollow space, allowing you to pack very large and long items. The zipper at the bottom provides quick access to all the gear you need most during the day, while the roll top provides weatherproof protection for most of your gear. The lower zippered compartment features elastic compression straps on the inside and four small mesh pockets to organize your gear. A zippered pocket on the inside of the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The roll closure, the floating lid and the compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the volume of the backpack. HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE CARRYING SYSTEM When carrying heavy backpacks over long distances, it is extremely important that your backpack fits just right. The length adjustable lap belt and shoulder belt can be moved both up and down the frame to be suitable for users with a length of 160-200 cm. The external LJK tubular aluminium frame ensures that the backpack does not hang and transfers the weight of the backpack to your hips, even when loaded with heavy and cumbersome load. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are generously filled with thermoformed foam filling with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap.     The Hiisi folding sauna bench is designed for Savotta tent saunas. The structure is foldable, making the benches compact to wear. The benches are made of light firewood that has been treated for the sauna environment. A bank can accommodate two people. The banks are made in Finland. The benches consist of two parts: the collapsible frame and the seat. The assembly is quick and easy. The frame part is folded open and forms the basic structure of the benches, including footrests. The chair is then placed on top of the frame, making the structure more stable. The whole is secured in place with the help of handy Velcro fasteners that round the attachment of the seat to the frame.     DETAILED DESCRIPTION The sauna has been a central and honored place in Finnish life for centuries, a place of birth and death, life and celebration. The word "hiisi" is old Finnish for a sacred place, a place of sacrifice or mystical power - the perfect family name for our sauna tents and accessories. The Hiisi 4 is built around the basics of our field camps, corner poles, telescopic centre pole, shaving lines and pegs. The canines are inserted into covers on the outside of the tent, which makes the interior a little less crowded. The ceiling and wall material is fire retardant for safety, but not fire resistant, so sparks and flames will burn holes in it, so be careful. The interior is large enough for two double sofas, totalling four people, and the stove. The stove is at the back, benches on the sides. The window at the back lets in some light and lets you enjoy the view out. Two zippers are used to close the door, which can also be rolled up and secured by two strips of Velcro. A piece of cord is attached to the centre of the ceiling, which is intended as a confirmation point for a sauna thermometer to help you keep up with the temperature and not overheat the tent. The tent, poles and poles can be neatly stored in a carrier bag for transport. Shoulder straps allow you to carry a backpack so you have your hands free for cookers or other accessories.
    INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hiisi 4. You need a hammer or similar tool to smash the poles into the ground. We recommend using a sauna thermometer of up to 100°C to prevent overheating and help you get the perfect temperature.

    • Although the substances are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not fire resistant - sparks and flames will damage and burn holes in the fabric. Heater heated tents will in normal use incur some burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.

The function and idea of that now long-lost design was brought back as the Hikimaja, our smallest, simplest sauna tent. The word "hikimaja" is Finnish for (about) "sweat cottage", this is a very simplistic sauna tent built around the idea of making it as compact, simple and portable as possible. The Hikimaja is built around a very simple geometry - it's a box and that's all. Four corner poles keep the tent upright, this design eliminates the need for a center bar and reduces the number of accessories to just four corner poles and four pegs. The corner poles are inserted into the sleeves on the outside of the tent, making the interior slightly less crowded. The materials are fire retardant for safety, but not fire proof, so sparks and flames will burn holes in them, so be careful. The interior is large enough for a double sofa and the stove. The stove is at the bottom of the wall, the sofa against the opposite upper wall. The entrance is a simple zipper over the middle of the front wall, zipper - entry - zipper. The tent, poles and poles can be neatly stored in a carrier bag for transport. A shoulder strap makes it easy to wear, so you have your hands free for heaters or other accessories.     TENT REPAIR KIT The tent repair kit is suitable for repairing tents made of both cotton and cotton mix. The repair patches are fireproof pieces of cotton mix. The kit contains approximately 90 round spots for tents with a diameter of 5 cm and 6 cm, 2 pieces of 40 × 50 cm, 35 ml repair glue and instructions. The patches are intended for cotton mix fire-resistant tents, but they can also be used to repair non-fire-resistant tents. Perform repairs in a well-ventilated area. The glue irritates eyes and skin. The damaged area must be dry and clean from grease or dirt. Divide the glue on to the damaged area and the patch with a brush or spatula. Allow the glue to dry for 5-15 minutes, depending on the air temperature and relative humidity. Press the patch on the damaged area. Squeeze with your hands into the repaired area and make sure that the patch is securely secured by, for example, lightly beating with a rubber hammer. Note! The patch cannot be moved after repair. The glue is immediately firmly secured and the final fixation is reached after 7 days. Beware of glue stains, as the glue can only be removed after drying with acetone or a similar solvent. You should observe the effect of the solvent on the substance when using solvents. If you get glue on your skin, wash it off with soap and hot water. If you get glue in your eye, rinse immediately with plenty of hot water and seek medical attention. Seek medical attention immediately if you have swallowed the substance.     KEVYT RAJAPARTIO The daypack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Guard and also known as the Kevyt Rajapartio, is compact, simple and very versatile. Due to its slim shape, the backpack does not stand in the way even in tight spaces and is ideal for skiing and hunting. In its size category, the Kevyt Rajapartio is an unusually sturdy backpack to carry. The aluminium-reinforced internal support frame keeps the backpack in strong shape even when heavy loads. With the compression straps of the bag, even a backpack that is not full can be put on so that it sits firmly and does not rock. Compartments The bag (approximately 50 x 25 x 10-20 cm dimensions) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overfrapping. The opening is covered with a flap that encloses the top of the backpack and is fastened with straps. The generous length of the tyres offers a lot of space under the flap for overpackaging. The contents of the upper compartment can also be accessed quickly from the right side via a vertical zipper that runs over the full height of the backpack. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. The compartment is also ideal for carrying, for example, a drinking bag or other flat items. In the bag is a holder for a thermos so you can always find it where it belongs. With the four compression straps on the sides of the backpack, the bag can be tightened compactly even when it is not full. The flap of the bag has a flat pocket with zipper for small items (size about 20 x 20 cm). OTHER ANCHORAGES On the flap at the back of the backpack and at the bottom of the bag you will find attachment loops to carry a rifle. The loops are also equally suitable for transporting other exceptionally long devices. The load is secured by donting a strap that circles the entire backpack. It is also possible to attach items that would not otherwise fit in the backpack behind the compression straps of the bag. The bottom of the backpack has four fastening loops for detachable straps. Binding to the bottom is an excellent method of wearing for, for example, coiled sleeping mats. On both sides of the lap belt there are fastening loops to attach small items. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The hip belt buckle can be quickly detached with one hand, which is a very valuable feature in a possible emergency. The buckle collar provides extra comfort and support when wearing. With the support on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with a very durable frame of plastic plate to which two vertical aluminum rods with rivets are attached. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and can also be carried comfortably with a heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. The generous and sturdy cushions against the back are a rarity in a backpack of this size category and make the Kevyt Rajapartio a surprisingly comfortable small backpack to carry. This is a very simple, very bomb-free design. A zippered pocket on the inside of the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The locking system and compression straps on the side provide some adjustment to the volume of the backpack. Fasten it tightly or loosen it, depending on the load carried. The capacity of the Jääkäri S can be set from 20 to 30 litres, depending on how you fold the top cover. A hydration compartment is attached to the inner back wall. Tube ports on both sides allow you to guide the drinks long from the left or right, while the other port remains free for other uses, such as antennas or cables. The low-profile shoulder straps are made of 40 mm wide web, with ladder lock buckps in the lower corners of the bag for adjustment. With the 25 mm strap on top of the shoulder straps you can use chest straps, drinks hoses etc. Confirm. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The tires and edge tape we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester bands in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as standard, as should be since the same materials are used in official military equipment. MODULAR AND CUSTOMIZABLE With PALS straps on the sides and the lid, you can attach extra bags and equipment. This system offers numerous options to customize the package to your specific needs. SUPPORT SYSTEM The Jääkäri M has an internal frame of plastic plate, giving it the necessary stiffness to stay upright when loaded with clumsy and bulky equipment. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are tightly filled with foam with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The forward-pulling lap belt is also easy to put on under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. The lap belt is equipped with an additional cushion for lower back support. CONNECTION OF FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the early 1990s, a compact Savotta walking backpack, simply called the "608", was chosen as the starting point for the design of a new day backpack for the Finnish Border Guard. This then changed to the 'Kevyt Rajapartio' or Lightweight Border Patrol backpack, a very modern backpack for its time: narrow design for mobility, side zipper, compression belts and rifle fastening. Most striking was a very sturdy carrying system and an aluminum reinforced frame - something you rarely see on packaging of its size. This venerable design was chosen in 2013 as the basis for the development of what would become the Jääkäri M, the first in the modern range of Savotta packs with a construction and functionality of military quality. This worked out very well and the Jääkäri M was followed by his siblings: the Jääkäri S, L and XL.
