This is your all-round packing accessory for most situations. Besides the beautiful roll closure, there is nothing spectacular going on. The 210D fabric these bags are made of is certainly not ultra-light, but it is light enough for most situations. The thin, smooth material makes them easy to store, roll up and pack. Examples of use: 1) The smallest ones are perfect for socks, underwear and other spare clothes.
2) Keep food and snacks organized with one or two of these, pull them out of your backpack to rummage around.
3) The larger one can be used as an inner pocket in your backpack for extra protection against rain.
4) With different sizes and colors, you can color-code your items so you can quickly identify them.
WATERPROOF? YES AND NO.
The 210D polyamide that these bags are made of has a PU coating to make them waterproof. But the seams are not taped or anything like that. Basically, if they are new and not worn after years of intensive use, they are quite waterproof. But if you leave one in the rain or drop it in a lake, water will seep in through the seams over time. Keep in mind that, if you use these like we do, the fabric and coating will wear off at some point, allowing water to seep through the fabric itself, that’s life.
