The GearKeeper RT4-5170 is a retractable safety system with retraction function for small work tools up to 85 g, such as compass, pocket knife, scissors, etc.
However, depending on the weight, the pull rope does not prevent the equipment from falling to the ground if you let go, but loss is prevented. At the end of the rope is a key ring, which is attached to the end of the rope with a quick release. The rope is made of extremely durable Spectra Nylon.
The GearKeeper RT4-5170 has two MOLLE holders – a 360° rotatable plastic MOLLE holder on the back of the case and a MOLLE-compatible Velcro option. With the Velcro option, the GearKeeper can also be attached to loops or straps. The mounting option that is not in use can be removed.
