The GearKeeper RT4-5171 is an extendable safety system with retraction function for small devices up to 170 g, such as flashlights, laser pointers, cutters, scissors, mobile phones, GPS, etc.
However, depending on the weight, the drawstring does not prevent the device from falling to the ground when you release it, but it does prevent it from being lost. At the end of the rope is a keychain, which is attached to the end of the rope with a quick release. The rope is made of extremely wear-resistant Spectra nylon.
The GearKeeper RT4-5171 has two MOLLE brackets – a plastic MOLLE bracket that can be rotated 360° on the back of the case and a MOLLE-compatible Velcro mount. With the Velcro closure, the GearKeeper can also be attached to loops or straps. The unused mounting option can be removed.
