KEVYT RAJAPARTIO The daypack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Guard and also known as the Kevyt Rajapartio, is compact, simple and very versatile. Due to its slim shape, the backpack does not stand in the way even in tight spaces and is ideal for skiing and hunting. In its size category, the Kevyt Rajapartio is an unusually sturdy backpack to carry. The aluminium-reinforced internal support frame keeps the backpack in strong shape even when heavy loads. With the compression straps of the bag, even a backpack that is not full can be put on so that it sits firmly and does not rock. Compartments The bag (approximately 50 x 25 x 10-20 cm dimensions) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overfrapping. The opening is covered with a flap that encloses the top of the backpack and is fastened with straps. The generous length of the tyres offers a lot of space under the flap for overpackaging. The contents of the upper compartment can also be accessed quickly from the right side via a vertical zipper that runs over the full height of the backpack. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. The compartment is also ideal for carrying, for example, a drinking bag or other flat items. In the bag is a holder for a thermos so you can always find it where it belongs. With the four compression straps on the sides of the backpack, the bag can be tightened compactly even when it is not full. The flap of the bag has a flat pocket with zipper for small items (size about 20 x 20 cm). OTHER ANCHORAGES On the flap at the back of the backpack and at the bottom of the bag you will find attachment loops to carry a rifle. The loops are also equally suitable for transporting other exceptionally long devices. The load is secured by donting a strap that circles the entire backpack. It is also possible to attach items that would not otherwise fit in the backpack behind the compression straps of the bag. The bottom of the backpack has four fastening loops for detachable straps. Binding to the bottom is an excellent method of wearing for, for example, coiled sleeping mats. On both sides of the lap belt there are fastening loops to attach small items. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The hip belt buckle can be quickly detached with one hand, which is a very valuable feature in a possible emergency. The buckle collar provides extra comfort and support when wearing. With the support on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with a very durable frame of plastic plate to which two vertical aluminum rods with rivets are attached. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and can also be carried comfortably with a heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. The generous and sturdy cushions against the back are a rarity in a backpack of this size category and make the Kevyt Rajapartio a surprisingly comfortable small backpack to carry. Savotta TORRAKKO

    165,00189,00
A rifle backpack for a hunter which also meets the requirements for the transport of a firearm thanks to a new rain cover. It works both while hunting and on the way there. The robust and padded rifle compartment can accommodate a rifle with a larger scope as well. The whole package can be tightened sturdily with the compression straps of the bag, making carrying a firearm both comfortable and safe in any terrain. The slim design of Torrakko facilitates moving around in off-road conditions. The thinly padded shoulder straps make shooting while the backpack is on your back easy. The streamlined package has been designed to be as practical as possible. Torrakko has no extra protruding or entangling parts.

    COMPARTMENTS

The bag (dimensions approximately 45 x 25 x 15 cm) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening which is covered with a protective flap that is secured with buckled straps. The main compartment opens also with two zippers spanning the full length the sides. If these are opened, the entire back of the backpack opens up, making all contents of the backpack very conveniently accessible. The bag can be tightened into a snug package by using the compression straps on the sides. There is a flat, zippered mesh pocket (dimensions approximately 20 x 20 cm) inside the flap where the game pouch of Torrakko is kept by default. The pocket is also ideal for other small items. The bottom of the backpack has a flat pocket which closes with Velcro (dimensions approximately 12 x 20 cm) where the rain cover of Torrakko is kept by default. The game pouch (dimensions approximately 35 x 35 cm) is a bag made of netted fabric with an opening that can be tightened using a drawstring. The game pouch is attached to the back of the backpack with four strap loops which are attached to the compression straps of the backpack. The rifle compartment of Torrakko (dimensions approximately 85 x 25 x 9 cm) is located between the bag and your back. It is open at the top and tapers towards the bottom for the barrel. The rifle can be secured tightly for carrying by using the compression straps of the backpack. The new rain cover covers the entire backpack and also the butt of the firearm which would otherwise remain exposed from the rifle compartment. The rain cover is fastened around the firearm with a zipper and a buckle. So with the rain cover in place, Torrakko is a legal firearm carrying case also in public places as well as in the car. You will no longer have to transport your firearm in a separate bag from which it is then transferred into a backpack. Your rifle can ride from home into the forest, during hunting and back again inside Torrakko.

    OTHER ATTACHMENT POINTS

Extra supplies that would not otherwise fit inside the backpack can be tied conveniently to the buckled compression straps on the sides. Rain capes and break clothing, for example, travel with you conveniently and readily available on the sides of the backpack.

    CARRYING SYSTEM

The back, shoulder straps and hip belt of the rifle carrying device are all lightly padded. There is plenty of room for adjustment in both the shoulder straps and the hip belt. The back of backpack has been reinforced with an internal plastic sheet. The padding pillows galore on the back make carrying comfortable.

    Savotta LJK

    545,00
LJK This heavy backpack with external frame was originally designed for paratroopers of the Finnish army in the early 1980s. Capacity approx. 80 l. This backpack, designed for heavy military use, can be used more heavily than most users, such as a free fall of an aircraft. Given its properties, LJK is also suitable for average users and it is an excellent choice for those looking for a lifetime collaboration. The LJK backpack was launched in 1985. Originally designed for military use, the backpack was also warmly welcomed by civilian users. The special features of the model are a frame without the upper curve, which makes moving easier because it does not get in the way of the head. There are no pockets on the sides of the backpack in the lower section, which makes cross-country skiing with the backpack more comfortable. The LJK backpack is still used in the Finnish Armed Forces and is just as popular with recreational users. A traditional backpack with external frame is at its best with a heavy load, but is also suitable for lighter trips. The external tube frame ensures air circulation between the user's pocket and back, significantly reducing the heat load. Although anatomical backpacks have taken over some grass in the backpack market, there are still situations where nothing is better than an external frame backpack. Compartments The upper compartment of the bag (dimensions about 45 x 40 x 20 cm) is closed by attaching the opening of the drawstring, which is secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overpackaging. The opening is covered with a generous flap that is secured with straps. The straps are long enough to wear, for example, a sleeping bag or mat under the flap. If necessary, the straps can be easily extended with the included detachable straps. The top and lower pockets of the bag are separated by a built-in distributor. The valve of the upper compartment has a flat compartment for small objects (dimensions about 25 x 45 cm), which are also suitable for larger objects that need to be easily accessible. The exterior of the upper compartment is equipped with a flat card pocket with zipper (dimensions approximately 30 x 30 cm). The lower compartment of the bag (dimensions about 35 x 35 x 20 cm) opens on both vertical sides with a zipper. The zippers are protected with a button closure. The flaps should always be gently fastened, as they take away some of the weight and strain the zippers. The side pockets (dimensions approximately 40 x 10 x 7 cm) are closed by attracting the waterproof protective collar, which is covered with a flap that can be secured with straps. The left side pocket is divided into two compartments with a built-in distributor. The lower compartment is accessible via the zipper on the side. In the lower back there is a large outer compartment (dimensions approximately 32 x 25 x 10 cm) that is closed by tightening the protective collar. The bag is covered with a valve that is fastened with two straps. This bag is ideal for packing items that should be easily accessible during the walk, such as a camping stove and food. OTHER ANCHORAGES There is a generous number of fastening loops on top of the valve and in the main compartment. This makes it possible to secure even large loads (such as the beloved Sissi tent) on or under the valve by means of detachable tires. The loops on the inside of the flap are perfect for attaching a sleeping mat. Especially a military-style tent mattress can be attached to this by means of the elastic bands. Axes or other long, narrow stocks can be transported behind the tunnel-shaped side pockets. The fasteners with straps above the side compartments ensure the attachment of the supplies. The lower corners of the shoulder straps have loops that serve as attachment points for small objects, such as water bottles. SUPPORT SYSTEM The frame of the support system is the strong aluminium tube frame of the LJK model. Unlike civilian backpacks, LJK does not have an upper bend because the bend easily sits in the head when it is necessary to move on rough terrain. Furthermore, the frame of LJK has been reinforced with additional support blocks. The shoulder straps and waistband are firmly padded and anatomically shaped. The buckle of the hip belt can be detached very quickly with one hand. It is a very valuable feature in a possible emergency. The nodded chest strap provides extra comfort and support when wearing. The stepless adjustable (length) support support system and lap belt of the backpack can be adapted to users of all different heights and sizes. It is possible to adjust the center of gravity of the shoulder straps even while walking by tightening and loosening the straps attached to the top of the frame. The centre of gravity of the backpack itself between the shoulders and the hips is adjusted by loosening and tightening the shoulder straps and hip belt. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: External dimensions: height 85 cm, width 55 cm, depth 30 cm. Content: 80 l. Weight: 3.70 kg. Here in the cold north, we have always relied on heated shelters and tents to keep us alive and head out into the wilderness. HAWU 4 SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Door piece The front half of the tent with zipper and flue pipe connection can be used as a loose tarpaulin in Loue style Wall piece: The sturdy rear part of the tent can be used as a freestanding Loue-style tarpaulin Expansion: A separate middle section with which the HAWU 4 can be extended to a maximum of six people DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The HAWU is a highly customizable security system designed for long-term use. It is perfect for the most demanding environments, also for military use all year round. Designed for versatility and adaptability, the HAWU is highly flexible when it comes to finding a suitable place to set up. This requires very few accessories. The core of its flexibility are the zippers that connect the tent parts together and allow them to be distributed and placed around tree trunks.
The door is designed so that you step into the tent instead of crawling under a low side entrance. A freely hanging inner wall prevents the warm air from escaping from the tent when the zippered door is opened. A useful function if someone has to keep watch at the same time and look at the lit heater.
There is a steel oven tube opening with a hinged lid between the door and the top of the front part. This design provides safety when using an oven for heating. If no oven is used, the folding cover closes the connection from the outside.
The side zippers provide a quick way out, especially during military operations or in case of emergency. The zippers and their rolled-up outer cover allow for a very fast emergency exit - open the zipper a little from top to bottom and just push yourself through!
The top of the tent is made of excess fabric that can be used to cover the top when a center stick is used. The tip can be left completely open or left open only on one side, depending on the wind direction, which regulates the ventilation and evaporation of moisture, depending on the conditions. When using an oven, it is advisable to keep the tip open so that the warm air can drain moisture.
HAWU tents are standard made of a naturally fire retardant and breathable fabric that has been treated against mold resistance. The fibers in the fabric swell when wet to ensure effective sealing against rain without the need for waterproof and poorly breathable coatings. For large orders, such as procurement by the military and government agencies, we can, and we have done so in the past, make the HAWU from other substances specified by the customer. CONSTRUCTION POSSIBILITIES
The split design offers flexibility in both transport and assembly. Thanks to the numerous mounting methods, the HAWU can be set up practically anywhere, which minimizes the time and effort required to find the perfect location. Around a tree: The halves can be mounted around a tree trunk, so there is no need to wear or manufacture separate center posts on site. Another advantage of this method is camouflage, where the treetops provide excellent camouflage for aerial exploration. Hanging: Instead of using a central support, trunk or pole, the HAWU can be hung on a rope between two trees. This creates space in the tent for more people or to set up equipment for maintenance and work. With a central pole: the usual old-fashioned way also works with the HAWU. For this we offer specially made telescopic mid-sticks. Side parts: The two halves of the HAWU can be used separately as smaller open protective sails. This allows a larger team to split up and take half the tent with them.
Due to the smart design of the corner sheath lines, no corner poles are needed. Just cut the lines or tie them around a rock or tree and pull on the quick belt adjusters to adjust the tension, and you're done. The lack of corner bars also means that there are far fewer separate components to maintain and move, which is a big advantage in suboptimal environments and under stress. As such, herrings are not strictly necessary, but are recommended. Although the shaving lines can be attached to the terrain and vegetation, this is not always possible. The corners of the hem should also be attached to the floor for a safe seal. The HAWU tent does not contain pegs, but we offer these as a separate accessory.
The upper loops and the carabiner mounting system that secures the top of the tent make it possible to set up the HAWU with a standard center pole to attach a tree or hang it at the top. THE HAWU STORY The origins of Hawu tents go back to 1993 when Pasi Ylirisku, the current CEO of Hawu Pro Oy, and his staff began developing a new tent design. For more than two decades, they have tested and improved the Hawu tent to perfection with great attention to detail. In 2016, Finn-Savotta Oy and Hawu Pro Oy signed a cooperation agreement. The design of the Hawu tent was completed in collaboration with Savotta's designers and Hawu's original mass production design and development team. The first batch, which was completed in autumn 2017 and put up for sale.

  • Savotta Rolltop Stuffsack mesh

    20,9034,90
Somewhat transparent, totally non-waterproof and just neat in many ways, these packing bags are made of a strong mesh fabric. Designed to store, transport and organize all kinds of equipment and items. Because they are made of a mesh fabric, they work very differently from most packaging bags and offer very different functions. There are things in this world that you don't want to pack, transport or store tightly in water or air, mesh does just that. As a bonus mesh, you can see through it, which helps identify the contents of each bag if you have a bunch of these with different gears. Use cases: - By putting wet equipment in it, the mesh allows the contents to dry out. - Clear color coding of your spare clothing in your bag or backpack. - Storage of equipment that you want to "breathe". • The most basic accessory of any backpack is a pair of reliable packing straps, we offer a few different styles to meet your specific needs and preferences. The heavy, spring-loaded metal cam buckle is almost indestructible and allows you to use it in situations and tasks where a plastic buckle just isn't strong enough. BUCKLE AND LENGTH OPTIONS To meet specific needs and preferences, we offer a few different buckle options: 1) SR buckle: For most applications, the fast and light plastic buckle with side release (SR) is more than sufficient. No wonder this is the "standard" buckle for this type of belt worldwide. 2) CAM buckle: For really heavy use, a heavier metal cam buckle is a solid choice. There is a reason why the Finnish Defense gives each soldier a pack of belts that are virtually identical to this one. Length options, indicated as the maximum circumference of the object around which the belt can be looped, are 80 cm and 120 cm. The shorter 80 cm is sufficient for most of the stuff you want to attach to the outside of a backpack, sleeping bags and sleeping pillows etc. The 120cm is great for all kinds of bulk goods, field camp tent rollers, firewood etc, it's enough for pretty much anything you'll ever need it for. And hey, if the length is not enough you can always put it on a chain! KEY FEATURES

DESCRIPTION The internal elastic webbing compartments are designed for our locally common Senop lead discs (45 x 60 x 5 mm), as used by the Finnish Defence Force, but they can also fit various other gear. In the large space under the elastic bands, a block of max. 100 x 60 x 20 mm, the two smaller weight compartments each fit a block of max. 45 x 60 x 15 mm. The pouch can be attached to the back of your helmet/cover with Velcro and two adjustable straps. The straps come with screw buckles, attach these to the rear chin strap/rail screws on your helmet, place the pouch where you want it and thread the two straps through the screw buckles. If you fasten the straps properly, they will ensure that the pouch does not lie around when you weigh it down. If your helmet has rails with suitable attachment points, then you may not need to use the buckles. Because the pouch is open on the sides, you can guide the elastic of your goggles through it and the pouch will stay firmly in place on the helmet no matter what. The elastic loops on the outside allow you to guide and tidy up cords, attach glow sticks, etc. Even if the straps are attached to the inside of the back wall, there's still some loop surface you can use to store small patches when you're not using them. No weight plates included, these are sold separately: NVD counterweight kit.

Our storage bags with lids are designed to transport your magazines reliably and well protected in all conditions and to open them easily, even with thick winter gloves on. The lid keeps the worst mud, sand and snow out of the bag. External reinforcement along the bottom ensures a longer lifespan, as this is where these types of cases wear out first. At the very bottom is a drainage passage to let water out. The back features our standard PALS fastening webbing system with pleated tabs. The fastening straps can also be woven into belt loops for 45-50 mm wide belts. An elastic cord with a loop around the pouch offers adjustable retention and circumference adjustment. This is not only useful for loose magazines, but also to adjust the pouch for radios, IFAK inserts etc. LID CLOSURE SYSTEM The lid of this case closes with a polyethylene reinforced pressure tab and Velcro. A pleated tab is mechanically very simple, but extremely reliable compared to plastic buckles, snaps, or regular hook-and-loop work. Indeed, this is almost identical to the way the attachment straps on all of our PALS hold-down bags are secured, only shorter and with a quick-access tab. Thanks to the Velcro strap, the bag stays tightly closed even when half empty and can be closed quickly without the need to tuck in the tab. The hook section can be covered with a sewn-in piece of loop for quiet operation. Pro tip: If you're using a brand new case for the first time, press the tab with your fingers to give it a C-bend. This makes it much easier to use, as its claw-like shape finds its way better into the small pocket of webbing that locks it in. Don't worry, polyethylene (in all its boring low-tech glory) is highly crush resistant and won't crack or break, which is why we use it. IT FITS ALL KINDS OF THINGS Although they are designed for two AR15 30 rd magazines, they also fit all kinds of other types of magazines and gear. Here are some examples:

    • AR10 20 rd magazine, 1 pcs
    • HK417 20 rd magazine, 1 pcs

  • Savotta Hatka 12L

    88,95108,95
At first glance, the Hatka 12L may seem like just a roller bag with shoulder straps, but when you look closer, you'll see that there's actually a lot going on. This design was conceived as part of a special military carrying system, which required a small daypack that could be easily attached to a larger backpack. On the outside are four rows of PALS weaving tapes. These can be used for attaching pouches, bungee cords, and buckles to quickly attach or detach the Hatka to a larger backpack. The four webbing loops at the bottom can be used for elastic cords, so you can carry items under the backpack. Two long internal compartments are there to organize smaller items, and the D-ring provides a point to store small valuables. The large external pocket against your back is large enough for a hydration reservoir or tarp. The simple 25mm webbing shoulder straps are attached to D-rings and completely removable, and therefore also replaceable with padded shoulder straps if you wish. These can also be set as a single diagonal shoulder strap. They are designed to be lightweight, easy to carry and store so you can attach the Hatka to larger packs. KEY FEATURES
    • Capacity approx. 12 litres
    • Quick and secure roll-top closure with SR buckle
    • Simple, detachable 25mm low-profile shoulder straps
    • PALS webbing on the outside
    • Loop for identification and patches on the outside
    • Four loops at the bottom
    • One large external back compartment
    • Two long internal compartments
    • D-ring attachment point on the inside

    • 5-year material and product warranty

    TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
    • Weight: 480 g

    • Strap: 100% polyester
TRICKS AND MODULARITY Clip and tie it to a larger backpack for use as a "grab and go" daypack. You can do this by tucking it under the flap or by using packing straps. The really great way is to attach the Hatka to the side compression or lid straps using G-hooks or PALS mounted SR buckles. You'll need four of them to securely attach the Hatka 12L to the back of your Jääkäri M, L or XL. Please note that these attachment buckles ARE NOT INCLUDED with the backpack. If you need to, you can add a lot of stuff to the outside of this otherwise quite small backpack. The PALS webbing allows you to attach bags, but you can also thread bungee cords to it (along with the four webbing loops at the bottom) for rain gear, tarpaulins etc. Because the Hatka is in many ways a spiritual successor to the venerable 202 daypack, it also has very rudimentary shoulder straps. This reduces weight and bulk, which is great if you're strapping it to a larger backpack. If you need to, you can easily replace it with more advanced padded options. Although there aren't too many compartments, you can still make good use of them if you pack smartly. Of course, you can put your large items in the main compartment, and the two small inner compartments can hold all kinds of small items and even water bottles. The D-ring can be used to clamp or tie small valuables. The external compartment against your back can be used to carry a closed-cell foam pad as a frame cloth, or to carry a tarp or hydration bladder. LEARN FINNISH WITH SAVOTTA "Hatka" is a peculiar Finnish word, it is only used in the phrase "ottaa hatkat" which means "to escape" or "to leave in a hurry". The Hatka pack was conceived while prototyping small, quick-to-remove escape and escape escape kits for a military project, so now you know why this peculiar name makes so much sense.
