The AKU Selvatica Tactical Mid GTX operational shoe is designed for the tactical area and use in various fields. A PU-treated skeleton in the upper and sole supports the shoe in a breathable and dynamic way and eliminates the need for seams. The exclusive AKU Elica Natural Stride System technology in the midsole optimizes biodynamic efficiency while running. The Vibram® Selvatica Megagrip outsole with an improved ground contact surface provides better all-round traction. Antimicrobial and breathable OrthoLite® insoles ensure optimal shock absorption.
The upper material consists of highly resistant 3D nylon AIR 8000®. AIR 8000® is a materials technology developed by AKU that provides functional shoes with optimized breathability and fast-drying material properties. Thanks to the use of highly water-vapor-permeable functional fabrics, shoes with AIR 8000® have up to 11 times faster moisture regulation than comparable models made from fast-drying materials. The GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane also makes it waterproof.
