The thickness of each blade is 2.25 mm, which is much thicker than the cheap inefficient scissors of laminated steel with blades 1.5 mm thick. Ideal for nurses or staff who do not work in a trauma center. It allows light cutting, e.g. bandages, tape, thin layers of material, ideal for craft and household use. Many women prefer these scissors because they are lighter and easier to use than the Pro scissors. They are an excellent addition to any basic IFAK kit or for general use.
