    HAWU tents are standard made of a naturally fire retardant and breathable fabric that has been treated against mold resistance. The fibers in the fabric swell when wet to ensure effective sealing against rain without the need for waterproof and poorly breathable coatings. For large orders, such as procurement by the military and government agencies, we can, and we have done so in the past, make the HAWU from other substances specified by the customer. CONSTRUCTION POSSIBILITIES
    The split design offers flexibility in both transport and assembly. Thanks to the numerous mounting methods, the HAWU can be set up practically anywhere, which minimizes the time and effort required to find the perfect location. Around a tree: The halves can be mounted around a tree trunk, so there is no need to wear or manufacture separate center posts on site. Another advantage of this method is camouflage, where the treetops provide excellent camouflage for aerial exploration. Hanging: Instead of using a central support, trunk or pole, the HAWU can be hung on a rope between two trees. This creates space in the tent for more people or to set up equipment for maintenance and work. With a central pole: the usual old-fashioned way also works with the HAWU. For this we offer specially made telescopic mid-sticks. Side parts: The two halves of the HAWU can be used separately as smaller open protective sails. This allows a larger team to split up and take half the tent with them.
    Due to the smart design of the corner sheath lines, no corner poles are needed. Just cut the lines or tie them around a rock or tree and pull on the quick belt adjusters to adjust the tension, and you're done. The lack of corner bars also means that there are far fewer separate components to maintain and move, which is a big advantage in suboptimal environments and under stress. As such, herrings are not strictly necessary, but are recommended. Although the shaving lines can be attached to the terrain and vegetation, this is not always possible. The corners of the hem should also be attached to the floor for a safe seal. The HAWU tent does not contain pegs, but we offer these as a separate accessory.
    The upper loops and the carabiner mounting system that secures the top of the tent make it possible to set up the HAWU with a standard center pole to attach a tree or hang it at the top. THE HAWU STORY The origins of Hawu tents go back to 1993 when Pasi Ylirisku, the current CEO of Hawu Pro Oy, and his staff began developing a new tent design. For more than two decades, they have tested and improved the Hawu tent to perfection with great attention to detail. In 2016, Finn-Savotta Oy and Hawu Pro Oy signed a cooperation agreement. The design of the Hawu tent was completed in collaboration with Savotta's designers and Hawu's original mass production design and development team. The back wall features two flat mesh pouches and a D-ring and two webbing tabs to secure valuables with a teat cord or buckles. The inside of the front wall is equipped with a loop for attachment of accessories with a hook back. The flat external pouch with Velcro closure measures 24 x 20 cm and is suitable for A5 documents and similar smaller objects. Two 10 x 15 cm loop fields on the side and end of the bag accept most name bands and a number of other identification data. Each D-ring can also be used to confirm name tags. We have put extra energy into providing the best possible carrying experience. Due to the length of the carrying brackets, the bag remains well at a comfortable carrying height and a good control is possible. Each end is equipped with a handle for comfortable lifting during transport. Six steel D-rings are used to attach the included adjustable shoulder strap, which offer different orientations to suit your personal taste. The D-rings are also the fastening points for the optional padded shoulder straps. MODULAR AND CUSTOMIZABLE The loop strips in the main compartment and side compartment cover are suitable for various hook-to-loop fastenable accessories, pockets and organizers. This allows you to customize your bag to your preferences, or build it into a specialized toolbox for whatever work you need it. The foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the zippered lid and the bottom of the bag can be easily removed, replaced or reinforced. This allows the end user to easily adjust the bag with extra padding or plastic inserts if that extra level of protection or padding is required. The Keikka series bags can use an optional (separately available), padded clickable backpack harness. While carrying the backpack, the foam filling with closed cells on the inside of the lid provides a basic level of comfort against your back, even if you carry annoying mess in the bag. When a backpack with a bag like this should be as uncomfortable as possible, let's face it - this will never be as comfortable as a real backpack. Instead of building our bags with unergonomic, too long handles that also serve as shoulder straps, we've decided to make this a separate option for those who really need it, so we can build each carrying option in the right way for the intended feature. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION The bags from the Keikka series are made to last. The carrier handles are made of a single length of 50 mm wide band that wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All carrier buckps are made of steel and are likely to last longer than the rest of the bag. Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defence and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge band we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester band in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as they should be, as the same materials are used in official military equipment. PROPER RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION We manufacture the vast majority of our products ourselves in our own factories in Karstula, Finland and Tartu, Estonia. Product development and special production phases such as laser cutting and metalworking take place in our main facility in Finland, the cutting and sewing of textiles takes place both in Finland and in Estonia. Here at Savotta we do not dream of low labour costs, but we work constantly hard to keep the production in our own hands!     DETAILED DESCRIPTION The sauna has been a central and honored place in Finnish life for centuries, a place of birth and death, life and celebration. The word "hiisi" is old Finnish for a sacred place, a place of sacrifice or mystical power - the perfect family name for our sauna tents and accessories. The Hiisi 4 is built around the basics of our field camps, corner poles, telescopic centre pole, shaving lines and pegs. The canines are inserted into covers on the outside of the tent, which makes the interior a little less crowded. The ceiling and wall material is fire retardant for safety, but not fire resistant, so sparks and flames will burn holes in it, so be careful. The interior is large enough for two double sofas, totalling four people, and the stove. The stove is at the back, benches on the sides. The window at the back lets in some light and lets you enjoy the view out. Two zippers are used to close the door, which can also be rolled up and secured by two strips of Velcro. A piece of cord is attached to the centre of the ceiling, which is intended as a confirmation point for a sauna thermometer to help you keep up with the temperature and not overheat the tent. The tent, poles and poles can be neatly stored in a carrier bag for transport. Shoulder straps allow you to carry a backpack so you have your hands free for cookers or other accessories.
    INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hiisi 4. You need a hammer or similar tool to smash the poles into the ground. We recommend using a sauna thermometer of up to 100°C to prevent overheating and help you get the perfect temperature.
    1. Find a suitable flat spot about 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers: Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard). Uneven surface (heater or users may stumble and fall).
    2. Unseed and insert the corner sticks into the sleeves.
    3. Spread out the tent sheet with the sticks approximately at the place you want it to have.
    4. Set one or two opposite angles at the same time: Hammer a stick about in the ground. 140 cm from the corner. Attach the corner rope to the pole with a reliable knot. Repeat until all corners are in place and each shaving line is pinned to the ground.
    5. Install the telescopic center pole, use the pen to adjust it for the correct height and tension.
    6. Inspect the tent, correct if necessary by adjusting the poles, poles and ropes.
    7. Install heater and benches.
    8. If available, attach a sauna thermometer of up to 100 °C to the line hanging from the ceiling. The thermometer should hang 150 cm above the ground.
    9. Do not heat the Hiisi 4 above 75 °C, extreme overheating can damage the tent and is not necessary - it is steam that makes the sauna pleasant, not hot air.

    WARNINGS - READ FOR USE! This sauna tent is designed to be heated with the Savotta wood stove and stone rack. If used incorrectly, the heated heater can cause numerous hazards and bodily injury:
    • Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term idling and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between use. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. By keeping a tent upright for several months, it is damaged and any damage caused by this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty.
    • To prevent tent damage from falling sparks, the top of the chimney should protrude 100 cm above the chimney opening. We recommend firing hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks.
    • Although the substances are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not fire resistant - sparks and flames will damage and burn holes in the fabric. Heater heated tents will in normal use incur some burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.
    • Use only stones intended for sauna use. Incorrect stones can burst when heated and cause injury due to flying shrapnel.

    TENT REPAIR KIT The tent repair kit is suitable for repairing tents made of both cotton and cotton mix. The repair patches are fireproof pieces of cotton mix. The kit contains approximately 90 round spots for tents with a diameter of 5 cm and 6 cm, 2 pieces of 40 × 50 cm, 35 ml repair glue and instructions. The patches are intended for cotton mix fire-resistant tents, but they can also be used to repair non-fire-resistant tents. Perform repairs in a well-ventilated area. The glue irritates eyes and skin. The damaged area must be dry and clean from grease or dirt. Divide the glue on to the damaged area and the patch with a brush or spatula. Allow the glue to dry for 5-15 minutes, depending on the air temperature and relative humidity. Press the patch on the damaged area. Squeeze with your hands into the repaired area and make sure that the patch is securely secured by, for example, lightly beating with a rubber hammer. Note! The patch cannot be moved after repair. The glue is immediately firmly secured and the final fixation is reached after 7 days. Beware of glue stains, as the glue can only be removed after drying with acetone or a similar solvent. You should observe the effect of the solvent on the substance when using solvents. If you get glue on your skin, wash it off with soap and hot water. If you get glue in your eye, rinse immediately with plenty of hot water and seek medical attention. Seek medical attention immediately if you have swallowed the substance.
