WATERPROOF? YES AND NO.
The 210D polyamide that these bags are made of has a PU coating to make them waterproof. But the seams are not taped or anything like that. Basically, if they are new and not worn after years of intensive use, they are quite waterproof. But if you leave one in the rain or drop it in a lake, water will seep in through the seams over time. Keep in mind that, if you use these like we do, the fabric and coating will wear off at some point, allowing water to seep through the fabric itself, that's life.
