The Savotta Big Bad Stove is the heaviest and largest hobokachel of Savotta. This oboe stove is more powerful and the fireplace is bigger than that of his younger siblings Happy and Grumpy. It has the same structure. The oven consists of 7 laser-cut stainless steel parts: three side panels, one bottom, a "front" and a cooking aid in two parts. After it clicks into place, the oven is ready to use. The Big Bad Stove is a powerful stove with a decent power/weight/size ratio. The stove comes with a practical bag of 1000D Cordura. Note: The exterior dimensions of the Big Bad Stove are the same as those of the Happy and Grumpy Stove. The difference in size is in the combustion chamber, which is 2 cm larger on the sides. The Happy Hobo is the happy part of the Savotta Hobo family. If the Grumpy Stove doesn't fill your sense of Finnish melancholy, this is more likely to be the case with the Happy Stove. Like the Grumpy Stove, the Happy Stove consists of 7 laser-cut stainless steel parts: three side walls, a bottom, a "happy face" and a cooking support in two parts. As soon as it clicks into place, the oboe is ready for use. The design of the oboe is aimed at finding a good balance between weight and durability. Despite its lightness, the oboe can carry the weight of a normal coffee pot or saucepan. The Happy Stove comes with an olive green protective shaft made from 1000D Codura. Really nothing special, but exactly what you need for a side pocket on your backpack. The zipper is covered for extra water repellency and protection against wear and dirt. The vertical webbings on the front keep the compression straps of your backpack neatly in place over the pouch, so that they can also compress the pouch well. These can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners, and things like that. A 25 mm webbing loop and D-ring on the top of the rear inner wall make it possible to secure small and important items, the flat rear compartment provides rudimentary organization for smaller items. The bottom and the lower half of the sides are lined with 210D polyamide for extra wear resistance. A through-through opening allows for the drainage of water that could seep into the bag. The back is equipped with our standard PALS fastening web belt system with folding tabs. The middle horizontal rows were omitted because they didn't really do anything other than add weight. We are not a manufacturer of ultra-light stuff, but even we do not like unnecessary weight. The two vertical fastening straps leave an approx. 9 cm wide gap, so you can carry items such as axes, fishing sticks, etc. behind the pouch. Optimal attachment requires a width of four channels and a height of six (min. five) rows of PALS webbing. The compression straps on the side of the backpack, when put on, will prevent any movement of the backpack and its contents. The 6-litre side bag fits all our Jääkäri backpacks. For backpacks with less than six rows of PALS webbing on the sides, the bottom of the bag "hangs". You can have this absorbed by the compression straps on the sides, or you can choose to attach the pouch one step higher to the side of the backpack. 30 years of experience in building large military backpacks. The main upgrade is the new "Herma" buckle, a buckle that is both brand and female in one buckle. That makes it possible to attach it wherever you want. No more searching for the right buckle to connect with. The depth of the backpack is small, but the width and lengths are long to carry what you need, but to be as close to your body as possible makes it easier to carry it.
