    C-A-T Tourniquet GEN7 Zwart

Mandatory remedy with an ECC certificate

    • The most used turnstile in the world
    • Can also be applied by the injured person himself thanks to single-handed ease of use
The C-A-T Tourniquet is a compression bandage that has been developed to stop heavy (arterial) bleeding on limbs in time and thus save lives. Thanks to its single-handed ease of use, the CAT GEN7 can even be applied by the injured person himself. The C-A-T gen7 is now the most widely used turnstile in the world. Almost all NATO countries use this turnstile as a fixed piece of equipment for their soldiers. The Dutch and Belgian army and various police services have now switched to the purchase. The CAT-T was developed after a study showed that, in violent conflicts, the leading cause of death among the dead had died from bleeding. It is very important that heavy bleeding is stopped at an early stage. Due to the single-handed ease of use, the CAT-T can also be applied by the injured person himself.

    Authenticity

Currently, there are many fake turnstiles (counterfelt Turnstiles) on the market. These Turnstiles are often indistinguishable from the real ones, but when used or do not build up enough circumferential pressure so that injured people continue to lose blood. The C-A-T Tourniquet must be wrapped in plastic in the Benelux market and provided with printed instructions with the logo and quality mark of Special Medics. These C-A-T Turnstiles also have a special quality mark. And have a Dutch description!
