HIISI FOLDABLE SAUNA SOFAS
The Hiisi folding sauna bench is designed for Savotta tent saunas. The structure is foldable, making the benches compact to wear. The benches are made of light firewood that has been treated for the sauna environment. A bank can accommodate two people. The banks are made in Finland. The benches consist of two parts: the collapsible frame and the seat. The assembly is quick and easy. The frame part is folded open and forms the basic structure of the benches, including footrests. The chair is then placed on top of the frame, making the structure more stable. The whole is secured in place with the help of handy Velcro fasteners that round the attachment of the seat to the frame. Hiisi benches are ideal for the Hikimaja sauna, the small sauna tent, the Hiisi sauna tent and the JSP sauna tent. A rifle backpack for a hunter which also meets the requirements for the transport of a firearm thanks to a new rain cover. It works both while hunting and on the way there. The robust and padded rifle compartment can accommodate a rifle with a larger scope as well. The whole package can be tightened sturdily with the compression straps of the bag, making carrying a firearm both comfortable and safe in any terrain. The slim design of Torrakko facilitates moving around in off-road conditions. The thinly padded shoulder straps make shooting while the backpack is on your back easy. The streamlined package has been designed to be as practical as possible. Torrakko has no extra protruding or entangling parts.

COMPARTMENTS

The bag (dimensions approximately 45 x 25 x 15 cm) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening which is covered with a protective flap that is secured with buckled straps. The main compartment opens also with two zippers spanning the full length the sides. If these are opened, the entire back of the backpack opens up, making all contents of the backpack very conveniently accessible. The bag can be tightened into a snug package by using the compression straps on the sides. There is a flat, zippered mesh pocket (dimensions approximately 20 x 20 cm) inside the flap where the game pouch of Torrakko is kept by default. The pocket is also ideal for other small items. The bottom of the backpack has a flat pocket which closes with Velcro (dimensions approximately 12 x 20 cm) where the rain cover of Torrakko is kept by default. The game pouch (dimensions approximately 35 x 35 cm) is a bag made of netted fabric with an opening that can be tightened using a drawstring. The game pouch is attached to the back of the backpack with four strap loops which are attached to the compression straps of the backpack. The rifle compartment of Torrakko (dimensions approximately 85 x 25 x 9 cm) is located between the bag and your back. It is open at the top and tapers towards the bottom for the barrel. The rifle can be secured tightly for carrying by using the compression straps of the backpack. The new rain cover covers the entire backpack and also the butt of the firearm which would otherwise remain exposed from the rifle compartment. The rain cover is fastened around the firearm with a zipper and a buckle. So with the rain cover in place, Torrakko is a legal firearm carrying case also in public places as well as in the car. You will no longer have to transport your firearm in a separate bag from which it is then transferred into a backpack. Your rifle can ride from home into the forest, during hunting and back again inside Torrakko.

OTHER ATTACHMENT POINTS

Extra supplies that would not otherwise fit inside the backpack can be tied conveniently to the buckled compression straps on the sides. Rain capes and break clothing, for example, travel with you conveniently and readily available on the sides of the backpack.

CARRYING SYSTEM

The back, shoulder straps and hip belt of the rifle carrying device are all lightly padded. There is plenty of room for adjustment in both the shoulder straps and the hip belt. The back of backpack has been reinforced with an internal plastic sheet. The padding pillows galore on the back make carrying comfortable.

Instead of building our bags with unergonomic, too long handles that also serve as shoulder straps, we've decided to make this a separate option for those who really need it, so we can build each carrying option in the right way for the intended feature. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION The bags from the Keikka series are made to last. The carrier handles are made of a single length of 50 mm wide band that wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All carrier buckps are made of steel and are likely to last longer than the rest of the bag. Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defence and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge band we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester band in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as they should be, as the same materials are used in official military equipment. PROPER RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION We manufacture the vast majority of our products ourselves in our own factories in Karstula, Finland and Tartu, Estonia. Product development and special production phases such as laser cutting and metalworking take place in our main facility in Finland, the cutting and sewing of textiles takes place both in Finland and in Estonia. Here at Savotta we do not dream of low labour costs, but we work constantly hard to keep the production in our own hands! KEVYT RAJAPARTIO The daypack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Guard and also known as the Kevyt Rajapartio, is compact, simple and very versatile. Due to its slim shape, the backpack does not stand in the way even in tight spaces and is ideal for skiing and hunting. In its size category, the Kevyt Rajapartio is an unusually sturdy backpack to carry. The aluminium-reinforced internal support frame keeps the backpack in strong shape even when heavy loads. With the compression straps of the bag, even a backpack that is not full can be put on so that it sits firmly and does not rock. Compartments The bag (approximately 50 x 25 x 10-20 cm dimensions) is closed by tightening the drawstring opening secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overfrapping. The opening is covered with a flap that encloses the top of the backpack and is fastened with straps. The generous length of the tyres offers a lot of space under the flap for overpackaging. The contents of the upper compartment can also be accessed quickly from the right side via a vertical zipper that runs over the full height of the backpack. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. The compartment is also ideal for carrying, for example, a drinking bag or other flat items. In the bag is a holder for a thermos so you can always find it where it belongs. With the four compression straps on the sides of the backpack, the bag can be tightened compactly even when it is not full. OTHER ANCHORAGES On the flap at the back of the backpack and at the bottom of the bag you will find attachment loops to carry a rifle. The loops are also equally suitable for transporting other exceptionally long devices. The load is secured by donting a strap that circles the entire backpack. It is also possible to attach items that would not otherwise fit in the backpack behind the compression straps of the bag. The bottom of the backpack has four fastening loops for detachable straps. Binding to the bottom is an excellent method of wearing for, for example, coiled sleeping mats. On both sides of the lap belt there are fastening loops to attach small items. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The hip belt buckle can be quickly detached with one hand, which is a very valuable feature in a possible emergency. The buckle collar provides extra comfort and support when wearing. With the support on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with a very durable frame of plastic plate to which two vertical aluminum rods with rivets are attached. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and can also be carried comfortably with a heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. A classic retro backpack for a hunter; the design has remained unchanged since the 1950s. After making something that works once, why fix the design if it is not broken! Just as great for hunting, camping and the city today as it was 60 years ago.

Due to its size, the 323 saddle sack is ideal for one or two day hunting trips: the backpack holds the necessary overnight equipment, provisions and other useful gadgets and tools comfortably. Once upon a time when men were made of steel and women as tough as nails, you could survive for weeks just with the saddle sack (or months, if you ask remote patrollers who served in wars), sleeping in the wilderness and eating what nature has to offer. Although the needs of a modern camper are different, a good backpack design is still a good backpack design. The traditional saddle sack is as fine a carrying device as it ever was, and it has the sort of a romantic retro vibe that you just cannot find in contemporary backpacks.

COMPARTMENTS

Large, multifunctional waist bag suitable for various specialized activities and tasks. Versatile internal organization and numerous external attachment points. Quickly attaches to backpacks in a variety of ways, allowing you to use the Askare as part of a modular, scalable backpack system. "Askare" is Finnish for "task" or "chore", it's as simple as that. This backpack was originally designed for sniper teams to carry various shooter/spotter-related gear, but has proven to be a great asset for all kinds of tasks both inside and outside of military origins during development. The large seven-litre capacity plus numerous external mounting options make this a very versatile general-purpose bag. On the inside, the bag has a number of options for organizing your belongings: elastic webbing loops of different sizes, flat pockets, attachment loops, and a loop surface for attaching organizers with hooks. On the back wall, two rows of 50 mm elastic webbing are sewn, forming loops of different sizes. The bottom row is sewn in two large, approx. 17 cm wide loops (designed for .50 cal Barrett magazines). The top row is sewn in three smaller, approx. 12 cm wide loops (designed for HK417 magazines). Each end of the bag has an elastic loop for smaller items. The front wall has two flat compartments with attachment loops at the top. A loop area of 35 x 10 cm on the inside of the front makes it possible to attach all kinds of organizers with hooks, etc. A large, open compartment on the back of the backpack has a removable closed cell foam pad on the inside and allows you to store the waist belt if needed. WEARING OPTIONS Due to its large size, the Askare carries the best on your lower back, rotate it forward for easy access. The strap is also long enough to carry the bag on your back like a sling pack. The strap is attached to large triangular wings for stability. For longer backpack movements, you can quickly attach the Askare to the compression straps on the side of your backpack. To do this, you'll need to add suitable buckles (2M PALS mount or split-bar female buckles) or use G-hooks. No quick-release buckles are included with the bag. You can also quickly attach the Askare to the side of your backpack by threading the compression straps on the side of the backpack through the large belt loops on the front of the bag. At first glance, the Hatka 12L may seem like just a roller bag with shoulder straps, but when you look closer, you'll see that there's actually a lot going on. This design was conceived as part of a special military carrying system, which required a small daypack that could be easily attached to a larger backpack. On the outside are four rows of PALS weaving tapes. These can be used for attaching pouches, bungee cords, and buckles to quickly attach or detach the Hatka to a larger backpack. The four webbing loops at the bottom can be used for elastic cords, so you can carry items under the backpack. Two long internal compartments are there to organize smaller items, and the D-ring provides a point to store small valuables. The large external pocket against your back is large enough for a hydration reservoir or tarp. The simple 25mm webbing shoulder straps are attached to D-rings and completely removable, and therefore also replaceable with padded shoulder straps if you wish. TRICKS AND MODULARITY Clip and tie it to a larger backpack for use as a "grab and go" daypack. You can do this by tucking it under the flap or by using packing straps. The really great way is to attach the Hatka to the side compression or lid straps using G-hooks or PALS mounted SR buckles. You'll need four of them to securely attach the Hatka 12L to the back of your Jääkäri M, L or XL. Please note that these attachment buckles ARE NOT INCLUDED with the backpack. If you need to, you can add a lot of stuff to the outside of this otherwise quite small backpack. The PALS webbing allows you to attach bags, but you can also thread bungee cords to it (along with the four webbing loops at the bottom) for rain gear, tarpaulins etc. Because the Hatka is in many ways a spiritual successor to the venerable 202 daypack, it also has very rudimentary shoulder straps. This reduces weight and bulk, which is great if you're strapping it to a larger backpack. If you need to, you can easily replace it with more advanced padded options. Although there aren't too many compartments, you can still make good use of them if you pack smartly. Of course, you can put your large items in the main compartment, and the two small inner compartments can hold all kinds of small items and even water bottles. The D-ring can be used to clamp or tie small valuables. Designed to be used with paratroopers’ LJK backpacks, the 202 has already become a classical concept. This is an extremely simple and very durable backpack, which is suitable for everyday use as well as for use in the forest. From the very beginning, the 202 was designed to be as light and simple as possible, so it could be packed easily and tightly. The 202 can be carried inside a bigger backpack from where it can be taken out to be used on shorter trips. The original idea for the use was that longer walks and trips were taken with the LJK backpack and the 202 was taken out and packed with the necessary supplies for shorter scouting etc. trips.

COMPARTMENTS

The main compartment of the Backpack (dimensions about 42 x 27 x 15 cm) is closed with a two-way zipper. The inside is without any additional compartments so even special and large items can fit in. Packing smartly is wise; for instance, folding one’s change of clothes and putting them against the back. This way, the Backpack would function as a back cushion. The outer pocket (measures about 15 x 23 x 5 cm) is closed with a zipper. It is convenient for smaller items which might be needed quickly.

CARRYING SYSTEM

The 202’s shoulder straps are very simple and adjusting their length is done using the plastic buckles in the lower corners. The Backpack can also be carried by hand by an extremely strong two-piece handle.

Savotta High Cut Helmet Cover V1

A versatile helmet cover with the right camouflage attachment cords throughout. Designed around the geometry of the Ops Core FAST XP high cut helmet shell, but also fits many other high cut helmets. The world is full of covers for high-cut helmets, but since 99% of these covers don't offer a real way to properly camouflage the helmet with foliage etc., we decided to unleash our offer on those as well. Made of 500D Cordura instead of regular garment fabric for high abrasion resistance. Unlike most high-cut helmet covers, which only have that zigzag cord at the top, our cover has elastic cord attachment points around the helmet shell. This allows you to camouflage your helmet well with foliage and the like. Because the elastic cord is not sewn to the cover, you can choose not to use it at all or to adjust or replace it as needed. The back of the case features a piece of 25mm webbing, with bartacked mounting points for IR strobes and the like. Then we have the standard loops on the sides, top and back for identifiers, patches, cameras, pockets for counterweight etc. The cover is attached via six pieces of one-wrap to pieces of hook on the inside of the helmet shell. SIZE, FIT AND COMPATIBILITY The sizes are matched to the Ops-Core FAST helmet sizes. A cover in size L fits a helmet in size L, a cover in size XL fits on a helmet shell in size XL. At the moment we don't offer M or XXL size covers, but L size covers fit M size shells (and XL size covers also fit L size shells) with the elastic cord as a kind of size adjustment system. Don't forget that each cover comes with a piece of adhesive hook tape, use this to create suitable attachment points in your helmet for the attachment straps! With the elastic cord that surrounds the helmet, you can tighten and shape the case to better fit the contours of helmet shells of different shapes and sizes. In addition to the perfect match, the Ops-Core FAST XP, we also tested the fit on a number of other common helmet designs:

Ops-Core FAST SF (super high cut): fits pretty nicely after some tweaking

*The current-generation PGD ARCH/MICH helmet rails are covered by the visor at the front and rear. This blocks access to the rear rail screws (NVD ballast bag attachment) and the NVD bungee cords at the front of the rails. You can easily customize the cover by carefully cutting small holes (and burning them gently to avoid fraying) for the bungees and screws. Changes to the cover are of course at your own risk!

Waist bags are already very versatile, but the Kukkaro is even more so thanks to the many ways you can customize it to suit your specific needs. Savotta Side pouch 12L

Really nothing special, but exactly what you need for a side pocket on your backpack. The zipper is covered for extra water repellency and protection against wear and dirt. The vertical webbings on the front keep the compression straps of your backpack neatly in place over the pouch, so that they can also compress the pouch well. These can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners, and things like that. A 25 mm webbing loop and D-ring on the top of the rear inner wall make it possible to secure small and important items, the flat rear compartment provides rudimentary organization for smaller items. The bottom and the lower half of the sides are lined with 210D polyamide for extra wear resistance. A through-through opening allows for the drainage of water that could seep into the bag. The back is equipped with our standard PALS fastening web belt system with folding tabs. The middle horizontal rows were omitted because they didn't really do anything other than add weight. We are not a manufacturer of ultra-light stuff, but even we do not like unnecessary weight. The two vertical fastening straps leave an approx. 9 cm wide gap, so you can carry items such as axes, fishing sticks, etc. behind the pouch. Optimal attachment requires a width of four channels and a height of six (min. five) rows of PALS webbing. The compression straps on the side of the backpack, when put on, will prevent any movement of the backpack and its contents. Of our own packs, we recommend the 12L side bag only for the Jääkäri XL. While this is not recommended, you can also make the bag suitable for smaller bags with an absolute minimum of six rows of PALS webbing on the sides, by attaching the bag a step higher and accepting that the bottom becomes a little limp. Examples of use With a capacity of twelve liters, this is a very large side bag, the PALS attachment is five channels wide. Best used on large and high backpacks of 70-100+ liters.
