The MX762-2 features an innovative design that securely stores two 9mm double-stack pistol magazines. The minimalist design helps make the MX762-2 exceptionally lightweight and provides additional flexibility in choosing the locking system that best suits the requirements of the mission. The minimalist design of the pouch with open top and bottom necessitates the use of the accessory Grip Clip (included) to safely store the magazine and at the same time eliminates the need for a flap or elastic cord to secure the magazine. This contributes to a lower overall weight and smooth operation with a slim construction.
GRIP CLIP
The Grip Clip acts like a spring that puts enough pressure on the magazine to hold it securely in the open-bottom pouch while providing consistent tensile resistance for faster reloading. Since the pouch has no bottom, the Grip Clip must be used, otherwise the magazine will fall out. The Grip Clip also eliminates the need for an additional locking system to prevent the magazine from falling out at both ends of the case. The Grip Clip is attached very firmly to the pouch by means of Velcro.
3 OPTIONS TO WEAR
The MX762-2 pouch offers three ways to prevent the magazines from falling out. One of them is the use of the Grip Clip, which has the advantage of adding the least weight to the case. Another way is to use a cover flap or an elastic cord to secure the magazine – these can serve for bulletproof placement. Finally, the elastic cord option can be used in conjunction with the included Alpha Tab and grip features such as a thicker deck flap hem to make handling easier.
RELIABLE AND ADAPTABLE DESIGN
The MX762-2 pouch can hold different sizes of 9mm pistol magazines. All that is required is to adjust the position of the overflap: slide it more in or out via the Velcro attachment point of the case. You can also simply remove the overflap entirely.
