What makes Urban Tactical Pants® so special? The cut and layout of the pockets in these pants are civilian enough to preserve anonymity, while maintaining the full functionality of combat pants, able to support tactical supplies while not clashing with human anatomy. Elastic belt with Velcro allows easy adjustment. Wide belt loops allow a belt of 50 mm wide, including all HTX tactical belts: EDC, UTL® or Cobras®. In addition, the cut used, classic for blue jeans, reduces the tendency to sink down during use. A judicious arrangement of the pockets allows the equipment to be placed close to the center mass, around the hips and waist. The edges of front and back pockets are reinforced to withstand the continuous movement of light or blade clamps. Two Velcro-sealed front pockets are large enough for a smartphone & or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The zipped thigh pockets look flat, but the design makes pockets or wallets easy to carry. Custom made internal pockets are waiting to be filled with Low Profile Protective Pads®. The upper is made of a combination of water-repellent, tear-resistant suede and abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA® material. An innovative locking hook makes it possible to adjust the laces individually at the forefoot and ankle. The waterproof, highly breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort laminate is ideal for use in temperate or relatively wet environments. LACING WITH TWO ZONES, SO THE SHOES FIT WELL Thanks to the two-zone lacing system used in the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX HI, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. DOUBLE INJECTION, UPPER AND SOLE BECOME A FIXED UNIT For effective cushioning and increased comfort, the sole of the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX HI is attached to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper is placed in a specially designed mold. Then several layers of PU foam are poured into it. During this process, the sole and upper material are fastened together. Lightweight For this process, a plastic called polyurethane is used. It is a very light foam filling. Damping The plastic polyurethane is a foam filling with very good damping properties. The plastic retains its shape and bounces back to its original state, even when the millions of small bubbles are often pressed together. This, in turn, creates a good rebound effect. A wide range of design options Thanks to direct injection, the sole can be designed in a very large number of ways. Due to the versatile properties of the materials used, the shoes can be effective in a large number of areas. STABLE FRAME With the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the ZEPHYR MK2 GTX HI offers the very best comfort. This three-dimensional design of the midsole was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame cradles the foot comfortably and supports it when the wearer of the shoe ventures over uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a STABILITY FRAME.
