Uphillsport Recon is designed for high performance requirements. Overnight stays can range from hot to freezing cold. Recon is inspired by multi-day treks and changing conditions. The multi-layer structure wicks moisture away from the skin and keeps your feet warm and dry. The special combination in our multilayer with coolmax and merino wool performs perfectly and adapts to changing conditions. Coolmax and merino wool keep air in for ventilation and insulation for a Drytech solution. The Drytech sock is designed to dry quickly at night and does not absorb sweat and odor. Our Merino wool is always mouse-free and adds warmth and breathability. Uphillsport Recon socks are made with a 4-layer structure. This ensures perfect warmth, moisture regulation and breathability, but the sock is medium in thickness. Recon has level 5 thermal degree. The foot section of the Recon Sock has a fitted heel and elastane grip on the arch of the foot. This provides good support halfway up the foot and adds comfort by keeping the sock wrinkle-free in place. No more blisters with Recon socks. Merino is knitted as terry cloth on the sole; this increases softness and comfort with every step, whether you're going uphill or downhill. Recon is made at calf length to rise well above the boot. Socks may appear smaller after washing - it is recommended to reshape the socks after washing for a better fit. Many socks have elastic yarns and therefore they can appear smaller than they actually are. The properties of Merino wool become even better after use and washing.
