JÄÄKÄRI M
The medium day backpack of the Jääkäri family, capacity approximately 30 liters. The Jääkäri M is an improved model of the Light Border Patrol backpack, originally designed for the Finnish Border Patrol. The sleek design offers unhindered movement in tight spaces and difficult terrain. The PALS fastener offers many options for fitting extra pockets and equipment on the outside of the backpack. An internal plastic frame blade gives the backpack stiffness, while the compression straps help you tie your load up to a tight package. As part of the Border Guard heritage, the shoulder straps, the lap belt and the back lining are designed to be more comfortable to wear than most backpacks of this size. KEY FEATURES Content 30 l Padded shoulder straps with chest strap Padded hip strap Main compartment with floating lid and side zip Zipper pocket on the inside of the lid Internal hydration compartment Compression straps on the side Internal plastic frame sheet PALS compatible for attaching extra bags 5-year warranty on material and craftsmanship Finnish Key Flag product TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 1.75 kg Dimensions: 52 x 25 x 17 cm (H x B x D) Main material: 1000D Cordura (100% polyamide) Band: 100% polyester Frame plate: HDPE DETAILED DESCRIPTION A collar with drawstring covered with a floating lid closes the main compartment at the top. A full-length side zip provides quick access to smaller items stowed in the main compartment. A zippered pocket on the inside of the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The floating lid and compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the backpack's capacity. Fasten it tightly or loosen it, depending on the load carried. The compression straps ensure that additional equipment can be attached to the outside of the backpack if necessary. External side pockets at the bottom can be used to provide tools, tripods etc. Secure to the sides of the backpack. A hydration compartment is attached to the inner back wall. Tube ports on both sides allow you to guide the drinks long from the left or right, while the other port remains free for other uses, such as antennas or cables. With PALS straps on the backpack's lap belt, sides and lid, you can attach extra bags and equipment. This system offers numerous options to customize the package to your specific needs. Not only for pouches, the PALS band can also be used for attaching utility straps, shock cord, carbine hooks etc. Four singelluses at the bottom can be used to attach utility straps. MILITARY GRADE MATERIALS Most of the materials we use for our commercial production are the same ones we use in equipment for the Finnish Armed Forces and other defense and security customers. Our most commonly used fabric in load carriers is extremely wear-resistant 1000D Cordura, according to FDF specifications, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The tires and edge tape we use are, again according to the FDF specifications, strong polyester bands in different widths and thicknesses for different applications. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as standard, as should be since the same materials are used in official military equipment. SUPPORT SYSTEM The Jääkäri M has an internal frame of plastic plate, giving it the necessary stiffness to stay upright when loaded with clumsy and bulky equipment. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are tightly filled with foam with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The forward-pulling lap belt is also easy to put on under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. The lap belt is equipped with an additional cushion for lower back support. CONNECTION OF FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the early 1990s, a compact Savotta walking backpack, simply called the "608", was chosen as the starting point for the design of a new day backpack for the Finnish Border Guard. This then changed to the 'Kevyt Rajapartio' or Lightweight Border Patrol backpack, a very modern backpack for its time: narrow design for mobility, side zipper, compression belts and rifle fastening. Most striking was a very sturdy carrying system and an aluminum reinforced frame - something you rarely see on packaging of its size. This venerable design was chosen in 2013 as the basis for the development of what would become the Jääkäri M, the first in the modern range of Savotta packs with a construction and functionality of military quality. This worked out very well and the Jääkäri M was followed by his siblings: the Jääkäri S, L and XL. -

BACKPACK 339
The cave-like, easy-to-pack bag and the wearing comfort of an external steel frame make the 339 a great choice for longer trips. A classic model from the 1950s, only the materials have been renewed over the years but the design has remained the same. Compartments The main compartment is closed by tightening the opening with drawstring which is covered with a flap that can be fastened with straps. The straps are long enough to, for example, attach a coiled sleeping mat or blanket under the flap. If necessary, additional detachable tyres can be used to extend the tyres. The contents of the bag can also be accessed quickly via the small side zipper on the right side of the opening. Special is that on the sides of the bag there are strings that can be used to tighten it to make the bag firm with less stuff in it, the adjustment range is about 10 cm. Conveniently, you can pack extra supplies behind the side cords, for example a camping axe. The side pockets are ideal for packing large thermos bottles and other cumbersome, long necessities. You can put lots of small necessities in the generous outdoor compartment for quick and easy access. SUPPORT SYSTEM The frame of the support device is the steel tube frame of the 339. The lower part of the frame is curved and forms a base on which the backpack can also be placed safely on sharp stony ground. The supporting carrying system, similar to backpacks with external frame, ensures comfort. The back length is adjustable steplessly for users of different lengths. Your upper back is against stretched mesh and your lower back in turn against a belt saddle: these prevent the bag itself from largely hitting your back, which makes for less sweaty conditions. The shoulder straps are wider than normal and padded, a chest strap with buckle gives extra support. The support point of the shoulder straps is located at the top of the frame. It is possible to adjust the center of gravity of the backpack even while walking by tightening and loosening the adjusting straps of the shoulder straps. The operating principle is about the same as with the supporting support systems of external frame backpacks. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: External dimensions: height 50 cm, width 45 cm, depth 25-35 cm. Content: about 55-65 l. Weight: approximately 1.90 kg. (Weight frame 650 g) Material: cotton treated with paraffin, polyamide band. Frame: steel tube. Colour: olive green with black buckles. WARRANTY AND WARRANTY: The product has a 5-year warranty for material and manufacturing defects. Not in stock - on orderBorder controls A classic from 1989, known in Finnish as the Rajapartio, originally designed for the Finnish border guard. An internal tubular aluminium frame helps to carry unwieldy and heavy loads. What is special is that the Rajapartio backpack has attachment points for a rifle on the outside. Originally designed to carry an assault rifle, the attachment points can also be used very well to attach, for example, a camera tripod or other long special supplies. Compartments The upper main compartment (dimensions approximately 45 x 35 x 22 cm) is closed by attaching the opening of the drawstring, which is secured with a waterproof protective collar that also allows overpackaging. The opening is covered with a large flap that is secured with straps. The generous length of the straps offers plenty of space under the flap to overpack. In the flap is a large, open pouch. When the valve is closed, the opening of the bag is facing upwards and closes so that the contents do not fall. Against the back in the bag is a pocket the size of the entire back for the supporting frame of the backpack. The compartment is also ideal for carrying, for example, a water bag or other flat stuff. The lower compartment of the bag (dimensions about 15 x 35 x 20 cm) is closed with a two-way zipper and fastened with the same straps used to close the flap of the backpack itself. The side compartments (dimensions approximately 30 x 15 x 6 cm) are sealed with waterproof protective collars and covered with flaps that can be secured with straps. The side pocket on the left also has a vertical zipper which makes the contents of the box quickly accessible. OTHER ANCHORAGES On the flap at the back of the backpack and at the bottom of the bag you will find fastening loops to carry a rifle. The loops are also equally suitable for carrying other exceptionally long devices. The load is secured by tightening a belt that encloses the entire backpack. There are attachment points for detachable straps on top of the flap. Large essentials that otherwise do not fit in the backpack can be fastened on top of the flap. The side compartment on the right is tunnel-shaped and there is a mounting point above for a detachable belt. For example, it can easily hold an axe. SUPPORT SYSTEM The wide, anatomically shaped, sturdy shoulder straps and the well-padded hip belt ensure supported and comfortable wearing. The buckle of the hip belt can be detached very quickly with one hand. A very valuable function in a possible emergency. With the support handle on the top, the backpack is also easy to carry by hand. The back is reinforced with an internal, square tube frame made of DUR aluminum. This lightweight frame keeps the backpack upright and is comfortable to carry, even with a slightly heavier load. The support frame can also be removed from the backpack if desired. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: External dimensions: height 65 cm, width 50 cm, depth 25 cm. Content: approximately 60 l. Weight: about 2.00 kg. Materiaal: 1000D Cordura Frame: DUR aluminium. Colour: olive green. WARRANTY AND WARRANTY: The product has a 5-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. Find a suitable flat spot approx. 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers:- Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard).
- Uneven surface (stove or users may stumble and fall).
- Hammer a pole into the ground approx. 140/160 cm (wall height) from the corner.
- Attach the corner guy line with a reliable knot to the pole.
- Repeat until all the corners are in place and each shaving cord is fastened to the ground.
- The thermometer should hang 140 cm above the ground.
- Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term stationary use and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between uses. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. If you leave a tent upright for a few months, it will damage and any damage resulting from this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty.
- To prevent damage to the tent from falling sparks, the chimney top should protrude 100 cm above the chimney gate. We recommend burning hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks.
- Although the fabrics are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not refractory - sparks and flames will damage the substance and burn holes in the fabric. Heater-heated tents will suffer from burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric during normal use. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.
- Only use stones intended for sauna use. Improper stones, when heated, can crack and cause injuries from flying shrapnel.
- Sparks and heat from the stove can set fire to combustible material nearby, easily remove combustible material in and near the tent before use.
- Always keep a large bucket of water or a fire extinguisher within seconds range of the tent when the stove is hot, be prepared to put out any fire!
- The stove and stones are extremely hot when heated and can cause injuries when touched!
- After use, inspect the soil for any hot embers and extinguish it with water.

JÄÄKÄRI L The larger multi-day package of the Jääkäri family, capacity approximately 55 liters. Based on the Border Patrol backpack originally designed for the Finnish Border Patrol in the 1980s. Big enough for multi-day walks, but compressable to a compact day package if necessary. The PALS attachment system provides excellent scalability to the outside when you need it. Thanks to the generously padded, thermoformed shoulder belts and lap belt in combination with an internal tubular aluminium frame, the Jääkäri L can comfortably carry heavy loads. KEY FEATURES Content 55 l Padded shoulder straps with chest strap Padded detachable lap belt Main compartment with roll top and floating lid / li> Zipper compartment in the lid Internal hydration compartment Compression straps on the side Internal aluminium tube frame PALS compatible for attaching extra bags 5-year warranty on material and craftsmanship Finnish Key Flag Product TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 2.4 kg Dimensions: 65 x 31 x 22 cm (H x B x D) Main material: 1000D Cordura Frame: aluminium tubes DETAILED DESCRIPTION Roll the top at the top, the zipper at the bottom and a cinch cord divider on the inside, so you can use the main bag any way you want. By opening the distributor, the main pocket is changed into a large hollow space. The zipper at the bottom provides quick access to the equipment you need most during the day, while the roll top ensures weatherproof protection for most of your gear. A zippered box in the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The roll closure, the floating lid and the compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the volume of the backpack. Tie it tightly or loosen it, depending on the load transported. The compression straps ensure that additional equipment can be attached to the outside of the backpack if necessary. A hydration compartment is attached to the inner wall. A central hydration tube port allows you to guide your hydration bladder tube from behind your neck to both shoulders. With PALS straps on the lap belt, sides, lid and bottom of the backpack, you can attach extra pockets and equipment. This system offers numerous options for configuring the package to meet your specific needs. But not only for pouches, the PALS webbing strap can also be used to belts, shock cords, carbine hooks etc. To confirm. The lap belt can be attached to the backpack via PALS webbing. It can be moved up or down to adjust the back length of the backpack and can be removed from the frame for use as a stand-alone strap for equipment. With matching bags you can use them instead of or in combination with a small day pack. SUPPORT SYSTEM An internal tubular aluminum frame ensures that the backpack does not sag and transfers the weight of the backpack to your hips, even when loaded with heavy and bulky cargo. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are generously padded with thermoformed foam filling with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The adjustment of the back length is done by moving the lap belt up or down over the backpack using PALS bands. The forward pull rape adjustment is easy to secure, even under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. CONNECTION OF THE FINNISH BORDER GUARD In the late 1980s, Savotta designed a new patrol package for the Finnish Border Patrol, simply called "Rajapartio" - Border Patrol. This was the first package of Savotta with an internal aluminum tube frame, a very simple design that turned out to be very good. The Border Patrol package is still being used by the Finnish Border Patrol at the time of writing in 2019, a testament to how specially designed designs do not work. However, materials and manufacturing technologies are evolving, as are end-users' needs. The Jääkäri L is in our opinion a worthy successor to its ancestor.

It is perfect for the most demanding environments, also for military use all year round. Designed for versatility and adaptability, the HAWU is highly flexible when it comes to finding a suitable place to set up. This requires very few accessories. The core of its flexibility are the zippers that connect the tent parts together and allow them to be distributed and placed around tree trunks. The door is designed so that you step into the tent instead of crawling under a low side entrance. A freely hanging inner wall prevents the warm air from escaping from the tent when the zippered door is opened. A useful function if someone has to keep watch at the same time and look at the lit heater. There is a steel oven tube opening with a hinged lid between the door and the top of the front part. This design provides safety when using an oven for heating. If no oven is used, the folding cover closes the connection from the outside. The side zippers provide a quick way out, especially during military operations or in case of emergency. The zippers and their rolled-up outer cover allow for a very fast emergency exit - open the zipper a little from top to bottom and just push yourself through! The top of the tent is made of excess fabric that can be used to cover the top when a center stick is used. The tip can be left completely open or left open only on one side, depending on the wind direction, which regulates the ventilation and evaporation of moisture, depending on the conditions. When using an oven, it is advisable to keep the tip open so that the warm air can drain moisture.HAWU tents are standard made of a naturally fire retardant and breathable fabric that has been treated against mold resistance. The fibers in the fabric swell when wet to ensure effective sealing against rain without the need for waterproof and poorly breathable coatings. For large orders, such as procurement by the military and government agencies, we can, and we have done so in the past, make the HAWU from other substances specified by the customer. CONSTRUCTION POSSIBILITIESThe split design offers flexibility in both transport and assembly. Thanks to the numerous mounting methods, the HAWU can be set up practically anywhere, which minimizes the time and effort required to find the perfect location. Around a tree: The halves can be mounted around a tree trunk, so there is no need to wear or manufacture separate center posts on site. Another advantage of this method is camouflage, where the treetops provide excellent camouflage for aerial exploration. Hanging: Instead of using a central support, trunk or pole, the HAWU can be hung on a rope between two trees. This creates space in the tent for more people or to set up equipment for maintenance and work. With a central pole: the usual old-fashioned way also works with the HAWU. For this we offer specially made telescopic mid-sticks. Side parts: The two halves of the HAWU can be used separately as smaller open protective sails. This allows a larger team to split up and take half the tent with them.Due to the smart design of the corner sheath lines, no corner poles are needed. Just cut the lines or tie them around a rock or tree and pull on the quick belt adjusters to adjust the tension, and you're done. The lack of corner bars also means that there are far fewer separate components to maintain and move, which is a big advantage in suboptimal environments and under stress. As such, herrings are not strictly necessary, but are recommended. Although the shaving lines can be attached to the terrain and vegetation, this is not always possible. The corners of the hem should also be attached to the floor for a safe seal. The HAWU tent does not contain pegs, but we offer these as a separate accessory. The upper loops and the carabiner mounting system that secures the top of the tent make it possible to set up the HAWU with a standard center pole to attach a tree or hang it at the top. THE HAWU STORY The origins of Hawu tents go back to 1993 when Pasi Ylirisku, the current CEO of Hawu Pro Oy, and his staff began developing a new tent design. For more than two decades, they have tested and improved the Hawu tent to perfection with great attention to detail. In 2016, Finn-Savotta Oy and Hawu Pro Oy signed a cooperation agreement. The design of the Hawu tent was completed in collaboration with Savotta's designers and Hawu's original mass production design and development team. The first batch, which was completed in autumn 2017 and put up for sale. -

JÄÄKÄRI XL
The largest backpack in the Jääkäri series. An external frame design for heavy and cumbersome loads, capacity approximately 70 l. The Jääkäri XL is an improved model of the modular LJK parachutist backpack, originally designed for the Finnish armed forces. The PALS attachment system provides great scalability to the outside when you need it. Fully height-adjustable and generously padded thermoformed shoulder harness and lap belt combined with a robust external tubular aluminium frame ensure that the Jääkäri XL can carry extremely heavy loads comfortably. KEY FEATURES Content 70 l Height adjustable portable system Padded shoulder straps with chest strap Padded detachable hip strap Main compartment with roll top and floating lid Zipper pocket on the inside of the lid Multiple small compartments to store your belongings Internal hydration compartment (e.g. Source WLPS 3L) Compression straps on the side External tubular aluminium frame PALS compatible for attaching extra bags 5-year warranty on material and craftsmanship Finnish Key Flag product TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Weight: 3.7 kg Dimensions: 79 x 32 x 23 cm (H x B x D) Main material: 1000D Cordura (100% polyamide) Band: 100% polyester Frame: aluminium tubes DETAILED DESCRIPTION The support system is based on the venerable LJK parachutist suit frame, an external frame made of aluminum tubes, and offers a very wide height adjustment range for a perfect fit. This backpack is designed to carry extremely heavy loads, just as its military predecessors have been since the early 1980s. With the roll top at the top, the zipper at the bottom and a drawstring distributor on the inside, you can use the main pocket in any way you want. By opening the distributor, the main pocket turns into a huge hollow space, allowing you to pack very large and long items. The zipper at the bottom provides quick access to all the gear you need most during the day, while the roll top provides weatherproof protection for most of your gear. The lower zippered compartment features elastic compression straps on the inside and four small mesh pockets to organize your gear. A zippered pocket on the inside of the lid provides secure storage for your wallet, keys, travel documents and phone. The roll closure, the floating lid and the compression straps on the side offer a wide range of adaptability to the volume of the backpack. Tube ports on both sides allow you to direct your hydration bladder tube from the left or right, while keeping the other port free for other uses, such as antennas or cables. Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories meet the strict FDF specifications for NIR reflection levels as they should be, as the same materials are used in official military equipment. Modularity With PALS straps on the lap belt, sides, lid and bottom of the backpack, you can attach extra pockets and equipment. This system offers numerous options to customize the package to your specific needs. Not only for pouches, the PALS band can also be used for attaching utility straps, shock cord, carbine hooks etc. The lap belt can be removed from the frame for use as a stand-alone equipment belt. With suitable bags attached to them, you can use them instead of or in combination with a small day pack. HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE CARRYING SYSTEM When carrying heavy backpacks over long distances, it is extremely important that your backpack fits just right. The length adjustable lap belt and shoulder belt can be moved both up and down the frame to be suitable for users with a length of 160-200 cm. The external LJK tubular aluminium frame ensures that the backpack does not hang and transfers the weight of the backpack to your hips, even when loaded with heavy and cumbersome load. Both the shoulder harness and the lap belt are generously filled with thermoformed foam filling with closed cells. The shoulder harness is S-shaped and has a detachable chest strap. The forward pull setting on the lap belt is easy to put on even under load. The buckle on the side provides quick and easy opening when needed. The high LJK frame offers good lifting possibilities. Load lifts are mounted between the top of the frame and the shoulder belt. The Savotta Jääkäri XL is the replacement for the Savotta LJK which goes out of the range. -

INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE USE! We recommend two to four people to set up the Hiisi 4. You need a hammer or similar tool to smash the poles into the ground. We recommend using a sauna thermometer of up to 100°C to prevent overheating and help you get the perfect temperature.- Find a suitable flat spot about 3.5 x 3.5 m, beware of dangers: Dry grass and undergrowth, trees and branches (fire hazard). Uneven surface (heater or users may stumble and fall).
- Unseed and insert the corner sticks into the sleeves.
- Spread out the tent sheet with the sticks approximately at the place you want it to have.
- Set one or two opposite angles at the same time: Hammer a stick about in the ground. 140 cm from the corner. Attach the corner rope to the pole with a reliable knot. Repeat until all corners are in place and each shaving line is pinned to the ground.
- Install the telescopic center pole, use the pen to adjust it for the correct height and tension.
- Inspect the tent, correct if necessary by adjusting the poles, poles and ropes.
- Install heater and benches.
- If available, attach a sauna thermometer of up to 100 °C to the line hanging from the ceiling. The thermometer should hang 150 cm above the ground.
- Do not heat the Hiisi 4 above 75 °C, extreme overheating can damage the tent and is not necessary - it is steam that makes the sauna pleasant, not hot air.
- Enjoy (carefully)!
- Savotta sauna tents are not designed for long-term idling and must be disassembled, cleaned, dried and stored indoors between use. Sunlight will damage the substances over time. By keeping a tent upright for several months, it is damaged and any damage caused by this type of abuse is not covered by our warranty.
- To prevent tent damage from falling sparks, the top of the chimney should protrude 100 cm above the chimney opening. We recommend firing hardwood to minimize the risk of sparks.
- Although the substances are fire retardant and self-extinguishing, they are not fire resistant - sparks and flames will damage and burn holes in the fabric. Heater heated tents will in normal use incur some burnt holes due to sparks that touch the fabric. This is normal wear and tear and can be easily repaired if necessary. Our warranty does not cover fire damage due to normal or incorrect use.
- Use only stones intended for sauna use. Incorrect stones can burst when heated and cause injury due to flying shrapnel.
- Sparks and heat from the stove can ignite nearby combustible substances

The HAWU is a highly customizable security system designed for long-term use.
