De C-A-T Tourniquet is een knelverband dat ontwikkeld is om zware (slagaderlijke) bloedingen aan ledematen op tijd te kunnen stoppen en zo levens te kunnen redden. Dankzij het enkelhandige gebruikersgemak kan de CAT GEN7 zelfs aangebracht worden door de gewonde zelf. De C-A-T gen7 is inmiddels de meest gebruikte tourniquet ter wereld. Nagenoeg al de NAVO landen gebruiken deze tourniquet als vast uitrustingsstuk voor hun militairen. Het Nederlandse en Belgische leger en diverse politiediensten zijn inmiddels over gegaan op de aanschaf. De CAT-T is ontwikkeld nadat uit studie bleek dat, in geweldsconflicten, de voornaamste doodsoorzaak onder de doden waren overleden aan verbloeding. Het is van groot belang dat zware bloedingen in een vroeg stadium worden gestopt. Door het enkelhandige gebruikersgemak kan de CAT-T ook aangebracht worden door de gewonde zelf.
Authenticiteit
Momenteel zijn er veel namaak tourniquets (counterfelt Tourniquets) op de markt. Deze Tourniquets zijn vaak niet van de echte te onderscheiden, maar breken bij gebruik of bouwen niet genoeg circumferentiële druk op zodat gewonde mensen bloed blijven verliezen. De C-A-T Tourniquet moet in de Benelux-markt in plastic verpakt zijn en voorzien zijn van geprinte instructies met het logo én keurmerk van Special Medics. Deze C-A-T Tourniquets hebben ook een speciaal keurmerk. En hebben een Nederlandse beschrijving!

De Carson NV-200 is een digitale pocket nachtkijker en is dé handzame en betaalbare accessoire om te gebruiken tijdens nachtelijke observaties. De monoculaire nachtkijker is zeer compact en lichtgewicht, maar beschikt over alle benodigde functionaliteiten om in het donker optimaal te kunnen zien. Dat betekent: inclusief manuele scherpstelfunctie, dioptrie-instelling en ingebouwd infraroodlicht. Of u nu op zoek bent naar dieren, uw privé-terrein wilt observeren, of gewoon een nachtelijke wandeling maakt en wil kunnen zien waar u loopt: deze pocket-nachtkijker komt altijd van pas! De kijker is digitaal, wat wil zeggen dat u het zowel 's nachts als ook overdag kunt gebruiken. De digitale restlichtversterker beschikt over een breed gezichtsveld van maar liefst 19 graden, zodat u te allen tijde een groot deel van de omgeving met één blik in zicht hebt. Daarbij kunt u vertrouwen op een standaard optische vergroting van 1x. Om extra helderheid te creëren en de kijkafstand te vergroten is de nachtkijker uitgerust met een ingebouwde infraroodversterker. De IR-Illuminator is in te stellen in drie niveaus: 100%, 60% en 30%. Wanneer u deze niet wilt gebruiken (bijv. overdag of in de schemering) kunt u die uiteraard ook geheel uitschakelen. De kijkafstand met de kijker bedraagt meer dan 150m (volle maan) en u kunt een persoon of dier detecteren tot wel 50m in volledige duisternis, dus zonder enige vorm van restlicht. De omgeving wordt in zwart/wit geprojecteerd voor een extra hoog contrast. Met zijn 54 gram en compacte afmetingen is de nachtkijker eenvoudig mee te nemen en op te bergen. De unit wordt standaard geleverd met een polsband, zodat u deze veilig om uw hand kunt binden, aan uw sleutels kunt vastmaken en ook weer direct kunt opbergen in bijvoorbeeld uw jas- of broekzak.
Toepassing Carson Digitale Pocket Nachtkijker NV-200
Om de compacte restlichtversterker te gebruiken plaatst u 3 AAA-batterijen (niet inbegrepen) in het compartiment naast het oculair. Vervolgens kunt u de unit opstarten. De gewenste dioptrie-instelling bepaalt u door te draaien aan de ring bij het oculair. Door de ring bij het objectief te roteren stelt u manueel het weergegeven beeld scherp. Zo heeft u te allen tijde een optimaal scherp beeld. Wanneer u de unit vijf minuten niet gebruikt, zal deze via de auto-shutdownfunctie automatisch worden uitgeschakeld.

The Operator Combat Shirt has been developed for one of our customisation projects with a European special forces unit. We implemented the latest operator feedbacks and combined them with latest fabric developments and textile engineering cognition. The result has been extensively field tested, further improved and subsequently issued to the unit. The feedbacks were so impressive that we decided to add this combat shirt to our regular product line as well. The shirt is an uncompromisingly designed combat-specific garment specially to be worn under body armor. Its anatomic fit provides great wearing comfort and avoids pressure points. De Darwin serie biedt compacte koepeltenten wanneer afmetingen en gewicht essentieel zijn. Hij is snel opgebouwd, biedt ondanks zijn compacte afmetingen voldoende ruimte voor bagage in de apsis en nodigt uit tot korte tochten. Met ring- en pinstokbevestiging en tassen binnenin.
