The X30i earbud has a valve that opens and closes with a simple toggle switch. This allows you to switch directly between hearing and protection at the same time, or hearing protection only. It is designed to provide the user with hearing protection against two types of noise: continuous noise (closed position) and impulse noise (open position). The mode is selected by operating the toggle switch while the product is in the ear. They come with ear tips in a variety of sizes and styles, so you can decide what suits you best to protect your hearing.
