The minimum tension pressure of 50mm/HG is achieved if the belt is properly tightened with 2 or 3 actions on the ratchet. For the military, it is a discreet rescue device suitable for high-stress trauma situations where the application time is critical, as only gross motor skills are required to apply the tourniquet. The RapidStop® is suitable for stopping bleeding in case of arm and leg injuries.
