Regular maintenance extends the life of the shoe
Regular maintenance extends the life of the shoe
Treatment
- Always remove dust, mud and dirt residues with a soft brush after use when the shoe is dry. For more stubborn dirt, use a cloth moistened with cold water.
- Never use solvents, harsh chemicals or brushes that are too hard: you could irreparably damage the leather and plastic parts.
- Do not wash in the washing machine or use pressure washers, very high temperatures and pressure may cause damage to some parts of the shoe.
- The boots should be dried naturally in a dry and well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight.
- Regularly apply a specific restorative nourishing cream for footwear to the leather upper to keep them soft at all times.
- Use a specific protective spray regularly to ensure that the leather and fabrics remain water-repellent.
Maintenance
- Don’t store your boots in plastic bags or airtight containers when you’re not using them.
- Store the boots carefully in a cardboard box, in places with good ventilation, without temperature fluctuations and away from heat sources, to preserve the original shape and softness of the leather and fabrics. Particularly damp places can change the functional properties of leather, soles and accessory parts.
- It is advisable to remove all internal parts (shoes and insoles) in case of prolonged non-use.
- When storing the shoes, it is recommended to fill them by putting newspaper in them to maintain the original shape, and to attach them to the top hooks.
