The Dragon Egg® Mk II is a backpack of more than 25 liters that is suitable for both short patrols and larger EDC backpacks. The backpack has three zippered compartments. The main compartment has an internal hydration sleeve and a mesh pocket. The main compartment also has a central tube outlet for a hydration tube. The back pocket has a padded sleeve that can be used for safely transporting multiband radio equipment or a laptop up to 15 inches. The front pocket of the Direct Action® Dragon Egg® has a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notepads, GPS, writing utensils, and other small essentials. The 2 redesigned side pockets allow for small and flat items. The pockets are elasticated so they can be enlarged to accommodate a standard American canteen or a 1-litre Nalgene water bottle. The Direct Action® Dragon Egg® also has a soft velour-lined zippered pocket for glasses, mobile phone, etc. The backpack also has a daisy chain strap that runs along the seam of the front panel, so you can attach carabiners or similar gear to it. The laser-cut system is compatible with MOLLE/PALS, which makes the backpack not only fully modular, but also maintains an unobtrusive appearance. Thanks to its egg shape, the backpack has a smaller height and width than other backpacks with a similar capacity, making it more comfortable when paired with belt kits or body armor. The carrying system is based on comfortable shoulder straps and an internal reinforcement in the back. The hip belt is removable and can be stored. CVS® is made of pre-formed foam profiles with multiple air channels that are combined with airy mesh.
